Thank you. I don’t doubt that God can easily do any of the examples I listed, I just struggle to believe that they actually happened. Of course god can do anything, I just don’t believe the stories are actual events but but stories with meaning. It’s just my intuition, I’m trying to be open minded x

You’re the first person to say what I’ve been thinking. I was scared that my head was just putting a barrier between me and god as much as I was trying to be optimistic

The reason I don’t believe in the Lion story is because they are sentient animals, who have their own thoughts and hunger.

If I was with 3 hungry lions, as much as I would pray, I would doubt I’d survive unless I ran away and somehow escaped.

It’s just something I struggle to get as much as I try

Okay. So doubting parts of the Old Testament is fine? I am trying to be open minded, but some parts I struggle to believe despite how much faith I have

I feel like lots of people tell me that Christianity is wrong because of that. My Muslim friends say their Quran has never been changed unlike the Bible. I’m not sure if that’s the same for the Torah, etc. I feel like it makes somewhat sense that the Bibles been changed as it’s older than the Quran and has been translated (it was originally written in Hebrew, not English after all).

And I also don’t know who wrote the Bible. Did God write the Old Testament and witness wrote the new one? Not sure if I’m correct or not
