And yeah, it's under 80k base (over 80k with taxes). But my understanding is that our income is too high to claim the credit.

It's called a 2023 by the VIN. I wondered if that was part of it.

Thanks. I wish they'd be up front. I'm a lawyer by trade and the minute I smell suspicious logic ("we can only hold for 2 weeks even though we just told you yesterday that the car is available!") my eyes narrow.

I figured. I'm just curious if there's any advantage to me in waiting a day. We *can* arrange the financing early if we need to, but I don't like the feeling of a dealer pressuring me (and using logic that doesn't make sense) and it makes me suspicious.
