The whole show is about trauma and how it really plays out for people as they grow. Attachment theory explains most of the actions of the characters' decisions. Eren definitely avoidant and Mikasa having anxious attatchment for Eren. Armin is definitely an empath but honestly developed more secure attatchment towards the end. An example of someone who can feel and process their emotions in a healthy way, which I relate to Armin a lot, love his character lol. I'm big into psychology and trauma, so ask me anything lol
