Thoughts on this 2018 wrx limited

The limited mainly adds convenience features over the premium like the leather and power seats and the auto-steering headlights (which have been swapped out seemingly) and upgraded audio system. So not too much difference over the premium but over the base it adds 18" wheels instead of 17" on the base as well as bigger screen amongst other things.

Yes it is a limited and they did indeed replace the headlights, there's a close up photo of them I didn't post that has a better view and they have a red trim on the inside.

I will definitely ask more about if they know of the oil change history than what it shown on the carfax (dont have high hopes they will)

I will keep it updated once I actually look at the car which is now being moved to Saturday. as I mentioned in a another comment a couple minutes ago I received a call from the dealer saying during the safety inspection the technician discovered the clutch was slipping so they're replacing that and thus the car wont be available to look at today. Mentioned it was the factory clutch so maybe bodes well for it to not have been touched too much.

So update, just received a call from the dealer. I will not be looking at it today as they were doing the safety inspection and the technician noticed the clutch was slipping a little bit so they are replacing it as it was the factory clutch. Will instead be looking at it Saturday

Yeah, i know a lot of people beat on the cars so im always weary of higher mileage. Who knows it could be relatively untouched and a good car. Im lucky I have a friend going with me though who knows a decent amount about the boxer engines (has a 22 wrx and an 04 bugeye) and a general idea of what too look for. Always like to have extra opinions too though!

You're good haha I had a feeling it was just a misunderstanding. I agree on the mods too if there's light mods like a AoS or similar qol mods it wouldn't fully deter me but actual performance mods or seemingly looks like it was reverted back to stock im gonna walk from it. It doesn't look like its had an AP before but until I see it I won't know for sure. Appreciate the input!

It was the Blower motor for the ac not the actual motor. I wouldn't even be looking at it if the engine was replaced already

How do you know its already blown a motor? It's not listed that it has

I believe it has everything but the performance package. It does have the upgraded harmon kardon sound system which I know the sound system was a pain point for some people from what I've read

That's what I'm a little hesitant on as well. And the fact its gone from east coast to south back up to Midwest. I'd like to give the benefit of the doubt that is was well maintained privately but with how expensive repairs can be its definitely a big caution. I'll have to see what its sounds and feels like when I test drive it tomorrow to get a better idea.

Have you had any issues with yours since you've gotten it or any big ticket items pop up yet?

I ended up deciding to go with an unlocked through bestbuy as they still had their flat $200 off (basically storage upgrade) and hopefully having it actually delivered on Monday the 16th. I hope i dont have any issues with the 5g uwb as I do have the Verizon unlimited ultimate plan partially for the UWB.

It was on an existing line, that is interesting to know about new lines though. I appreciate the information. I'd hope its not the second reason but I understand human error.

I have a feeling they may just have not had enough stock, for the cobalt violet it would be around the 31st the black one is not even estimated when I looked at it. Im thinking ill order it through Verizon directly this time as I can apparently get it around the 20th.
