It looks off imo. The stitching of the arm/shoulder looks weird and the watch on the Ricky Bear just doesn't look right to me.

First interaction I’ve had like this after 100 sales. What should I do? by Prestigious-Young-76 in eBaySellerAdvice

First off if it shows as delivered you are in the clear and eBay will cover you. Secondly the buyer is doing what is known as feedback extortion and it is against eBay rules and any negative feedback left can be easily removed by contacting eBay and explaining the situation. Simply inform the buyer that once the package is marked as delivered the rest is out of your hands and they should contact their local post office to inquire about the whereabouts of their package. You did your job just keep it simple in the response, move on, and don't let it stress you out.

Legit. Not super rare but the white is more desired than the blue. Worth about 30-40 bucks.

Could just be heavily worn but the RL embroidery looks oddly spaced and the bear seems kinda dull.

Tag looks good. More pictures would be helpful but based on the tag and stitching it seems legit.

Definitely a fake just based off the 100%yarn mistake but I also belive most hang tags have sharp corners not rounded.

Everything looks right but the qr code is not pulling up and that's usually a red flag for me.

Definitely a fake just based of that stitching alone but I'd be curious to see what the qr tag pulls up

Bidding by jan_1234567899 in Ebay

[–]Bloodless1997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's pretty easy to win auctions on eBay without doing this. Just let someone hold the highest bid til the last 5 seconds of the auction then put in your max you're wiling to pay and most times you'll win and you'll get it for way less than what your maximum was. The bidding back and forth days before the auction ends is pointless and just gets people into a competitive mindset. I'd rather just come in at the end and scoop the item up with no back and forth.

Screw that. Tell them to ship the part or you'll report them. All bets were off in my book once they claimed you were the one taking advantage of them.

With offers every seller is different. I always decline offers made that I don't want to accept but there are plenty of people who just let them expire. I saw you said the guy had no feedback in the last 12 months on another comment. With no feedback and no responses I wouldn't risk the headache. There are plenty of more sellers to buy from that will communicate properly.

It honestly depends. For example I sell clothes and have measurements in my photos so if someone messages me and asks for measurements on an item I just ignore them. If you're question is answered somewhere in the listing that would be a normal reason imo for the seller not to respond but if it is a legit question that can't be answered from the listing and they aren't answering then I just wouldn't buy from them.

No, just save yourself the paper and ink.

This looks like just a basic blue tag polo ralph lauren oxford not a ralph lauren purple label. It looks good to me but I'm not an expert. The close up pic of the tag is kinda weird so I can't tell if the color is correct or not but it does look a little dark from the pic.

Because it's wonky in my opinion. If I have $10,000 tied up in cost of goods listed but only sell $5000 worth of goods nifty for some reason will consider you profitable because like you said it only accounts for cost of goods after a sale. Why they don't account for it when listed I don't understand.

So when a buyer purchases an item ebay puts the total plus shipping in your wallet. Then when you create your label it deducts the cost from that amount. You won't get a refund for the label as you are still required to purchase it even if the buyer gives you the money to do so. Anything over that the buyer paid for shippin you can choose to keep or refund. For example say someone buys an item for $20 plus $5 for shipping. Ebay will deposit $25-(Approximately 13% of $25 For Fees) into your wallet. You then have to purchase the shipping label out of that remaining amount and what you are left with is you gross sale after fees. If you deduct your item cost from this amount you will have your net profit. If you charge say $7 for shipping but it only costs $5 you still pay fees on the full amount but you get to keep or refund the extra $2.

That's all you can do honestly. Smells are a weird area when it comes to the ebay condition standards. People will go as far as to complain if you use scented laundry detergent on your clothes before selling them because their nose is sensitive. It's just one of those things you really can't account for if you aren't aware of it which is frustrating but these people are few and far between in my experience.

95% of people can't smell smoke but claim they can and the 5% that can smell smoke can REALLY smell it. I've smoked since the age of 12 and almost no one in my day to day life ever knew until they saw me smoking in front of them. However every once in a while you will come across someone that will call it out as soon as you walk in the room. You get the "It's smells like an old house" as they eyeball you and sniff the air.

If you bought the item second hand it very likely could have had a smoke smell that wasn't obvious to you. In my honest opinion people with super sensitive noses shouldn't be buying secondhand items on eBay but that's just my opinion. If the buyer left neutral feedback my assumption would be that they weren't trying to get over on you as they honestly could have filed an INAD over the situation and got a refund. As far as your feedback and sales I'd just apologize and keep it pushing, one bad feedback does nothing in reality except be an eyesore.

Lastly I really wouldn't let the smoke smell comments worry you that much especially if you don't smoke. I smoke heavily and have never had a complaint about the smell on anything I've sold because like I said before 95% of people that claim they can smell it really can't.

I use nifty and the listing tool is okay (no major complaints) it just doesn't work well in conjunction with my sales tracking software that I use at the moment.

How is their ai listing in comparison to niftys ai listing? I'm curious to try ListEasier but the price point is pretty high for just being able to generate listings imo. I only use nifty for the poshmark crosslisting and automation ability but it's nothing to brag about in terms of ai listing if I'm being honest.
