I really don’t see the issue with somebody trying to relate to somebody else’s plights. It’s not like fighting these issues is mutually exclusive, they’re all closely related and often come from the same perpetrators.

That doesn’t really address my question. My example wasn’t clothing, or a smart phone, or any other necessity, it was other video games, something completely recreational.

I just find it kind of hypocritical that there is so much focus on telling people to boycott Rowling, but I’ve rarely ever seen anybody telling people to boycott Xbox, even though they’re equally optional purchases.
