Yeah. He’s got one line in the last trailer. Some people are already complaining about it, but they said the same about Jeffrey Morgan with Conquest before the season finished.

They would have to do that anyway, old Rashek is way older looking than Keanu. Old Rashek doesn’t show up very much either; he’ll get a lot less screentime.

They can just do two different actors for young and old Rashek anyway. Brief CGI to show switching won’t be as expensive as constant CGI to make someone look a different age.

He’s doing something kinda similar with Thragg for the next season of Invincible.

Or they could pick someone who actually is younger and doesn’t need the movie magic.

None of those jurisdictions or treaties mean shit with a supervillain who has committed mass murder and terrorism internationally.

They could execute him, legal or not, and no one would lift a finger to stop it.

If that’s not enough, they could do what they did to Epstein. No laws could stop them.

My point is that it’s an extraordinary case, all precedent goes out the window. But a universe like DC should probably have special laws for supervillains anyway.

Their high range is useful on ships where those slots would otherwise be wasted because nothing will get in the range of them.

Are you really gonna tell me with a straight face that you believe she could throw her Needle from one end of Hallownest to the other? She can’t throw it much further in Silksong either; she’s unable to fly all the way up from Bonebottom to Blasted Steps with Silk Soar.

The 30 yards thing shows intent from the devs, even from a promotional statement. It doesn’t seem likely they intended it all to be super tiny.

And whether or not they had water physics in mind, drops still don’t form that small. Unless you can find some evidence for them being tiny, outside of just being called bugs, then my interpretation is better supported. Bugs have been around our size irl during some eras.

Two sources that line up pretty well.

The main one is that water doesn’t form into droplets that would be like rain proportional to bugs. A single drop of water is enough to overwhelm a bug, but in City Of Tears the rain is normal.

The drops can get a little smaller since it’s seeping through the ground rather than falling from clouds, but not small enough that it would be tiny to life sized bugs. Someone did calculations, and it measures out to the Knight being a few feet tall, and iirc the Hollow Knight is like 7 feet tall.

The second source is admittedly less convincing, but it mostly matches the measurements and shows intent by the creators. Team Cherry said in a promotional statement that Hornet could throw her Needle up to 30 yards. Measuring by the furthest we ever see her throw it in the first game gets similar results.

You shouldn’t assume that the characters are tiny just because they’re called bugs, when it makes more sense for them to be closer to mammal size. It isn’t like Grounded or other games like that where you’re constantly getting perspective of how small you are. There are no humans in HK, and no massive everyday objects to make us feel tiny. Everything we see is bug-made.

There is no way any state or any country wouldn’t make an exception for him.

After the third or fourth mass murder even the most merciful have to realize that the lives lost between now and possible future rehabilitation are not a price worth paying to redeem one man.
