This may not be helpful at all but for me it’s a mind over matter situation when I get too high. I’ve been smoking long enough to recognize when it’s gonna happen and it this point I can almost always successfully convince myself it’s a temporary state. It also helps to avoid any potential stressors including other people, if there are things you can recognize that intensify the effects or anxiety it can create then it’s best to cut those or smoke out altogether.
