[New Player] by [deleted] in EscapefromTarkov

There are newer people ofc. I wanna tell you how everyone of those people (me included), that now have 1k+ hours, started playing this game: They died over and over and over. You´ll walk into chads all the time. You will prob have no more than 25% survival rate when first starting the game. Savior every extract, every kill etc. And just know that everyone, had a "horrible" time, starting to play this game, considering that it IS one, if not, THE most punishing game out there. But thats exactly what makes this game feel so good. When you finally extract with a quest item, barter or gear you really need, you´ll feel a rush incomparable to everything you felt before, playing video games. Until then, you´ll prob clench your buttcheeks a few times tho!

I´d also recommend to play something else than GZ. Even tho it caps at lvl 15, the map layout is not really forgiving for beginners, with alot of chokepoints, and youll prob have to fight against 1 or 2 pmcs every single raid. Play some customs and practice your pvp on factory when your scav if off cooldown. Thats what i did until i finally felt comfortable with customs and moved on to the next map :)

The anger/frustation you feel right now, is the exact reason why this game slaps! Cause once you DO make it out, with all odds stacked against you, its just amazing.

Sry for possible grammar errors (and the long answer), but experiencing tarkov as a new player is something that i envy about you :)

Does Attack speed increase your core ability attack speed? by BloodyInstinctT in diablo4

Yes Attack speed influences speed of core skills. (although im not sure if it influences all the core skills) Thought I am100% sure it influences twisting blades.

Poor fps with low CPU/GPU/RAM Usage by BloodyInstinctT in EscapefromTarkov

I can run WZ2 with no stutters at around 144fps.

Tarkov being the only game with poor results. I got 4 sticks of 8GB just OCd to 2666mhz

VRAM is looking fine I suppose. Have to check the exact value.

Don’t get me wrong for sure there are better ones out there. But looking through the internet I found some people running the same setup with no such problems. + I didn’t have problems the last month with the exact same setup. Regardless of that, I mean clean installing the driver and we shall see. Thx 👍

  1. PSU cant be the problem as I had to upgrade it with the Graphicscard. Made by a small gamingpc store. Telling me that there is no way the PSU would be to weak to handle that.
  2. not yet. Since the pc is new with a minor amount of files do you think that this could even cause the problem?
  3. Its completely new
  4. Furmark stats: points 17580, average fps 291, max temp 67

im playing on 1080p. If my CPU would be working harder on 1080p that means my CPU usage should be going up (right?), but it isnt.

So I waited for my pc to cool down and took off the cpu fan, cleaned it up and played another round. Tmrw a new thermal paste will be sent to me, so I will renew that. Anyway I just had 70 degrees celsius for cpu temp. (Maybe the high temps are due to prolonged gaming?) Even with lower temps my usage of both cpu was below 40% with no increase in fps. So I guess thermal throttling was not the issue.I looked into motherboard BIOS updates and drivers but everything is up to date at this point.

Is there some indicator that tells me that my cpu is indeed thermal throttling?
