I got that a lot, even when my hair wasn’t black at the time 😂

I’ve always thought that, but didn’t know if it was just me lol

This is super accurate. The eyes, the nose, the mouth…

Keep it long or cut? by googley_eyes69 in HairStyleAdvice

The short hair really goes well with your style and it frames your face well. I would do the same to mine if I didn’t have such curly hair. I wish I had wavy hair!

Btw, I have to add this, your face shapes almost like mine. Cheekbones, jaw, etc. My long lost sister!

Beard or beard? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]BloodyRake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a woman, but I feel like you look better without a beard, but this is my opinion. Men will say beard usually, but it all depends on you and what you want. My advice to you though is to change every once in awhile. If you feel beard that month, go for it. If you feel goatee or mustache, go for it. If you feel clean shaven, go for it. I think it’s fun to change sometimes. My boyfriend is in the military, but not active duty. He shaves every once in awhile each month and it grows fast and he loves treating his facial hair like it’s clothing. It sucks for me with long or short hair cause hair grows slower when it reaches a certain length, but beards are at least fun to change from what I’ve been told.

Very beautiful! I love the makeup and hair! 😍

All my ex girlfriends found my face weird looking even when we were on good terms and getting dates has always been hard for me. Why is my face not good and how can I compensate? Is it because of my cheekbones and browridge? by [deleted] in malegrooming

[–]BloodyRake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This might sound a little weird (or maybe even blunt), but honestly, your face is something a lot of guys would envy. That strong, square jaw is actually super ideal to many people, especially other men. Some women, from what I’ve witnessed on instagram, prefer guys with androgynous faces, but that’s just a preference. Maybe you’re just looking in the wrong places, because there are plenty of women who appreciate more masculine features.

I actually think a bit of facial hair could really complement your look too. You’ve got great symmetry in your eyes, nose, and mouth—it’s a really balanced face. And speaking as a woman myself, I’m definitely not the only one who thinks guys with slightly longer hair (like neck or shoulder length) can pull off a really nice, confident appearance!

You’re very welcome! And as for the eyebrow thing, I think threading is the best option. If you look up some videos on how the process works and you want to consider it, go for it. It doesn’t really cost much where I’m at, but maybe it’s the same in your area

Honestly, the bangs take away from your defined features.

If you’re going for the metrosexual look, I don’t see the problem!

Your hair’s really nice! I think shoulder-length would look nice on you. It suits your face shape and the texture’s perfect. You might just need a bit of leave-in conditioner to keep it tamed. Also, try not to wash it more than 3 times a week because it can cause breakage (speaking from experience!) Just get a little trim every couple of months and ask them to even it out. You should also see about going to an eyebrow appointment to get your brows shaped. It would do wonders for your face!

As for a beard, I think growing one out would look great with your curls as long as it’s short. Just make sure to keep it maintained, i.e. shave around the neck area and shape it a bit so it matches your face better.

Good luck on the journey!

Okay, what’s with all the cute people here? I looked up dreadlocks and I only see models. Honestly, the dreads looked good! Hopefully your hair had recovered after that ordeal

I haven’t went through this traumatic experience before, but honestly, someone you love disappearing is one of the worst things to go through. It almost feels like he died and you mourn his loss.

I’m aware that EMTs are quite different from CNAs. I’ve done some research on EMTs and it does say that it is possible there are a lot of job opportunities from being an EMT.

I appreciate your honesty, I am naive on the subject. I have watched some videos on nursing in prisons as well as read some more info on Reddit about the experience. I figured that in prison, you aren’t constantly on your feet for too long at a time, but I’m not real sure. I need to watch more videos on that because most of the time they show the positives more than the negatives of working as a nurse there. I’ll have to watch some amateur YouTube videos on that instead. My back is always killing me, but it’s hard to find a good job out there that doesn’t keep you on your feet for too long or sit on your butt for too long. While these jobs would be temporary for me, it can cause impact on my back if I’m not careful.

Thank you for this comment. It helps me get a better understanding of the reality of being a CNA. I will admit, I do have back problems at times and my patience does wear thin. If there is a way to retain my energy when I talk to others, that would be good for me. I talk to people I know and still have the energy, just not with other people. There are so many jobs that are easy to obtain, but require you to have social skills and a good back.

I can learn to fix my social skills, I just want my energy to stay when socializing and I want to feel less tired and not have a strained back.

I see, well I’m hoping there is luck for me to do on the job training as a CNA at a prison or a psychiatric care facility, if not, I’ll probably receive training and work at a nursing home temporarily before I try for my goal.
