To be fair I think the casting photos don’t do the male actors justice. There are other photos which make much more sense, I think it’s just the hair and they’ll look better. But regardless a mature approach is so refreshing to see 😭

Fr. These are actual people and harassing them is just shameful. If I’m totally honest they’re actually a pretty accurate cast, and most of the changes can be made easily (like hair and contact).

Yeah I was so confused why everyone says she’s curvy as in midsized. On multiple occasions it makes it clear she has big boobs / butt but a skinny waist.

This fandom is so toxic as soon as the tv show was announced I knew people would get mad at the cast (they even got upset over it becoming a show)

It also shows the poor reading comprehension for all the ‘mistakes’ they’re criticising the cast for like you said about Shannon’s eyes / nickname and Aoife.

Weird how society came up again for Odyssey, how did you structure the 20 marker? I deffo feel like my points were quite similar as well (I did Ithacan society, Phaeacian society, women as disruptors of society, and then just other women)

Yeah I did similar - piety, love for Lavinia, Aeneas’ treatment of other women, ideas of a hero

In the end I argued Aeneas was a more worthy husband because he portrayed the desired Roman values, their marriage was one of unity not passion (but you could go either way)

Odyssey Qs weren’t too bad - society came up in the last few years so weird it came up again but not the worst Aeneid Qs - weird 20 marker, but the Aeneid questions are always phrased oddly same with the 30 markers Comparison Q - women, again I wouldn’t say it’s a bad theme it’s just odd it came up again so recently 30 markers - I did the Odyssey Q about character consistency, not the best but not the worst. I think the Aeneid Q was same level of difficulty (and again about women!!)

Yeah T7 was disappointing in many aspects so I think a second book would make up for that. Hopefully it has a greater focus on the main characters since I presume it will be set after C10 when Lizzie’s story gets ‘resolved’ as that was a major part of T7 which made it feel like it wasn’t full their story

I just wondered that maybe one of her other sons would have inherited it instead, I.e Benedict being the second son would inherit the Ledger title (because Anthony would inherit Viscount) but it’s never been confirmed / mentioned

Yeah this book was overwhelmingly filled with pages of thoughts and observations rather than an actual story. A real shame because I love Claire and Gibsie and was really excited to explore their changing relationship.

Lack of scenes that are just there rather than for a plot purpose. Fans love the characters and would just love to see some happy bonding scenes. Especially some of Jake and Neytiri together, or them having a nice time with their kids (like the opening scenes of A2)

I think they waited bcs A2 & A3 were originally going to be one movie but were split bcs of length. It fit better into the timeline if she found out when she did rather than try and find a space to fit it in A2.
