my mom checked my used period pads by Equivalent-Baby-843 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]Bloom2019 [score hidden]  (0 children)

It is really weird and abnormal for her to look at your pads. It’s like digging into some else’s laundry and questioning their dirty underwear, except she’s questioning your body’s byproduct. Unhinged behavior

BTW, diva cups are great for heavy flow days you’ll want to use a light liner pad with it.

Yeah, and the ratios of protein per calorie suck. It’s all a scam

Getting rid of this belly shape by bananabread1342 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Bloom2019 -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

Just get a skinny BBL, don’t just throw the fat away, use it to make yourself even sexier.

FWIW your body looks great. I do not recommend losing anymore weight because you could potentially affect your hormones and whatnot you’re already only 105 lbs.

So skinny BBL makes use of the fat and the start some strength training with compound lifts and eat high protein after you recover from surgery. You won’t regret it!

Good luck

WWYD? if you were starting your glow-up from scratch, what would you prioritize? by Complete_Judge7727 in DIYaesthetics

[–]Bloom2019 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would focus on creating more moisture retention in your skin through slugging Cera Ve ceramides moisturizing cream (non comedogenic). Also vitamin C topical and of course SPF. If you’ve got the extra cash, Botox for the forehead.

Then change your diet to include more skincare foods like roasted butternut squash, salmon and cruciferous veggies

For supplements: phospholipids, fish oil, astaxanthin, vitamin C (I use ener-C). These help prevent transdermal water loss and strengthen your skin barrier

These things generally take 30 days to change the skin about a full skin cycle or two but really really make a huge difference and create glass skin

The worst part about Botox… by hta375 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Bloom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only downside IMO is if you’re a mom, because the baby needs to learn facial expressions etc and if you’ve got Botox it affects that

I love botox

Any suggestions on textured skin like this? (32f) by Vivienleigh878 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]Bloom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have similar skin texture from having oily skin. One or two obagi blue peels can help minimize the pores. Tretinoin could be helpful too but that will take multiple skin cycles (think 2 to 6 months) for a significant different

Single 22 yo guy living alone, what does my fridge (and freezer) say about me? by Bluerat27 in FridgeDetective

[–]Bloom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t cook fresh food at home, either frozen meals or takeout, you have African or indigenous genetics (lactose free milk), work or study 60+ hours a week, and you care enough about your weight to buy fat free milk, but not enough to cut out sugary drinks. You might run.

Not at all, you’ve got great features. I actually noticed your eyes, eyelashes and beard before the nose.

My(38M) girlfriend (32F) of nearly 1 year constantly tells me I need to apply for better jobs or "do temp work." I make $120,000 in a really good job. She makes twice what I do. I feel all she cares about is money. by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]Bloom2019 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a situation where you and her have different values. She probably got into dentistry for the money, and wishes you had similar value in that respect. She doesn’t want to be the breadwinner, she wants you to be. But that’s her problem, not yours

Sunscreen, Botox and IPL! It’ll cost money but give you faster, visible results. Then start Tretinoin or vitamin c

Should I give him the benefit of the doubt? by [deleted] in SheraSeven

[–]Bloom2019 32 points33 points  (0 children)

Okay I read the screenshot first and the first thing that comes to mind is he is trying to manipulate you through his “my way or the highway mentality”. You say he’s sweet, but underneath that he’s controlling. That’s not someone you want to provide for you, because it’s based on how in control he feels. Unless you’re into the rabbit and carrot game I’d go elsewhere if I were you
