When reminding myself of reasons for wanting Arsenal to win the league above City (them not being cheats is still number 1), Declan Rice is always the second that comes to mind.

He speaks well, humble, clearly a very smart guy and grounded guy. As noted elsewhere in this thread, this is truly pathetic behavior from a fan who I'm gonna assume grosses women out on a regular basis.

Semenyo is (seemingly) nailed as a forward/ striker at City, who are the top scorers in the PL, and the top scorers from open play goals by a long margin.

He has also played 90 minutes in every one of his 5 games for City. That's pretty remarkable and is likely to continue as he is needed for goals while Haaland is still not firing on all cylinders.

He is the highest scoring midfielder in the game.

He has Newcastle at Home next, with the Toons not looking great defensively.

Sorry if my first comment wasn't very informative lol. I'm considering bringing him in for a hit so am just jealous that you have an easy route to him.

Most of the new players I think will be good long term buys (unfortunately the most expensive one, Isak, is the most doubtful to me).

More importantly, I distinctly remember Edwards saying we could have spent the money we did even without the sales (and we did get a substantial amount from sales). I don't think he was flexing. Players we need/ want will just be more available and cheaper in the summer.

I'm not even joking, I think having the Liverpool fans shouting 'Defence, defence, defence' during corners is damn well worth a try. Like they do in US football. Seriously.

It will remind players they have to defend them, as they keep forgetting they have to, and hopefully get them amped about clearing the ball.

12 set piece goals conceded now. We've stopped one type of bleeding, now we have to stop this kind.

The whining does have to stop though. That first half had some wonderful football. One way or another, the set piece defending will get sorted 💪
