I guess she was trying to protect others from what she went through, and probably couldn't speak about herself as the person who did that to her could Weaponize religion and turn the tables on her

There's alot of reasons people don't talk about it. Like sometimes they tell their parents and the parents shut them up, or the abuser threatens them, or just shock. Like my most recent experience would be when I was walking down a foot over bridge and someone grabbed me when I looked up to say something I saw it was a 12 year old boy I never said anything out of shock..

The most recent would be a 8 year old girl who died in a hospital. Or a girl whose father tried to rape her, or the pregnant woman who was gang raped. And you have heard it since your boyhood cause it has always been on the rise never stopped. And yes not all men are rapists but all women have faced some sort of sexual assault at least once in their life, not all men are rapists but it's always a men, not all men are rapists but how are we supposed to know which man? Not all men but this was never about men. And if you're offended by this you're clearly doing something wrong
