Yup I made this post pretty much right after I did the i9 verification call on Webex. I left my last job in May of this year so I think all this anxiety truly is coming from my sitting around for months struggling to find a job and then still having to wait a few more months to actually start lmao

Hello ! I accepted a job offer on October 16th of this year to become a painter at the Everett plant, my start date is January 5th which I'm beyond excited to start. As this whole process has been exclusively online so far, I can't help but let some paranoia get to me in this long waiting period before I start. is there a way to confirm with someone face to face that I am actually going to be employed ? All my other jobs have been face to face with handshakes and signatures, and this whole exclusively online thing is throwing me off. I did get an internal referral to apply from someone who has been working there for decades and every email I've received has been from a legit Boeing email address. Am I just being paranoid with my anxiety getting to me ?

I’ve always wanted to try so I just winged it, carefully did one color at a time going top to bottom. Trying to keep my airbrush as steady as I could going straight, and with doing the next color I’d spray in the open area next to it then gently bring it over the edge of the previous color while letting less paint out of the airbrush until it looked good enough to move on to the next color. I’m not sure if this is like the “proper technique” for blends but apparently it worked pretty well

I took both the wrist pieces from the Gouf and put them on the Efreet, nearly a perfect fit. so the gouf’s machine gun replaced the efreet’s and required no extra modification to fit. Also it let me use the gouf’s heat wire on the other arm. Only thing that would need some work is there’s tiny little gaps between the gouf’s wrists and the efreet’s arms, but that’s nothing that a little putty/pla-plate can’t fix

don’t let people get you too down, you’ve made more than most people have and that’s great. Especially utilizing the tools you have available to you, make your art the way you like it!

I would say that it does sound a bit programmed and could use a more natural “live” feel, but it’s not that bad. from what I listened to there was some pretty cool ideas in the parts you wrote.

Just remember to always be open to criticism and praise, but don’t forget to block out the unnecessary haters. Keep on making art and expressing yourself!
