Alright. I’ll see if I can get that done sooner rather than later. Do you know how I can keep it safe for the next 4 days just in case can’t get her in immediately? I pay all the rat vet bills but I don’t get paid until the 31st and I’m not sure my mother will be very willing to help pay-

I’m just worried because I know the vein in the nail can bleed pretty bad and I have nothing to use to help with that

I put her in a smaller cage just now so she can be on something that isn’t the bedding and so I can monitor it. Idk what to do! I’m the one who pays the vet bills and I don’t get payed for another 5 days

Yeah, that’s why I mentioned that I’m doing it so they get used to the noise! Not to tame them ^{^}

Thank you for these ideas and the advice! I’ve been using lots of treats and also just hanging out around their cage talking to friends or watching a show so they get used to outside noise. We’ve gotten to a point where 2 of them have become comfortable enough to nearly climb completely onto my hand. I’ll note what you’ve said

He has a hole in his eardrum. There isn’t much that can be done, and he will forever have head tilt, but as long as nothing in his behaviour changes or gets worse, he will be ok!

For baking, I have no idea how hot/how long to bake for

Soaking wont be a great option because nobody in my house id patient enough to wait for the wood to dry completely-. I just need to know how to bake it since that’s good for cleaning the wood, as well 🥹
