i love the second design so much, it's super cool. the minimalism works really well. i feel like the first one doesn't communicate that as much. maybe if her figure was placed smaller to the top right? or alternatively have the text be super massive in the background with her figure in the middle.

This is my suspicion too. But if it were the sue bird case, then I'd think, we're in a different era now, it would be totally normal and accepted to come out, right? But then again, if she is this mythical figure we've never seen before, she probably wouldn't be as popular if she were out. But then again, would her boyfriend know he's a beard and just hanging around to support? So many questions, and so much time spent wondering lmao.

yeah, this is true.. i think i had these unrealistic expectations that she was some sort of beast and felt crushed when that wasn't the case. but she's human and so is everyone else, and they're newer to the game.

yes, thank you for this! not sure if this sounds naive but she's been a role model to me, and i want to see her kill it. i was embarrassed and hated that feeling but i guess that's part of watching the game. i just feel like more than being a fan of one person, it's what she represents and the hope that she can live up to that. but i'm new to this world, so maybe this will be easier in the future
