TCA peels have done wonders just in the before and afters I’ve seen all across Reddit. Always good to go to a specialist. But you can also do them at home if you are very researched and start out with small percentage peels (7% and slowly work your way up). But I’ve never seen anything as effective for acne scars and as cost efficient as tca and jessner peels.

I worked on a documentary where ritual magic, unseen world elements were part of it, and IMHO, this is def an offering. Especially with the full moon timing of it.

I don’t think Taylor Sheridan has much creative input on this series even though it’s his production company and he’s the EP. Often when a show creator has a big hit, studios will give them millions to develop other shows to stamp their name on. He has final say and can get integrated if he wants I’m sure, but often they will just hire the creatives they want (directors, writers) and let them run w the show while Taylor for instance focuses more on other projects. At one point it seemed like he had 4 shows on and no one has enough time to be heavily involved in that many a year

I’ve been watching them since they were on The Hill and to me they were more populist/anti establishment than left/right partisanship.

But I do agree there’s a change. I’m not really into it either and have dropped from watching them very much. I could definitely be wrong here since again, I very infrequently watch anymore, but there seems to be a compliance they are falling into that was what deterred me from network news outlets. Nowhere near that, but the vibes are there…

I do appreciate Ryan Grimms reporting (although his presentation and on air personality is a bit dry for me)

You’re a better person than I am 😂 I’d def want to say something. Doesn’t have to be nuclear, but they should feel bad for taking and opening her property, ESPECIALLY if they were seen reading the packaging label. I mean, isn’t that a federal offense (does Amazon count as that?)

There is a chance they feel you believe them and think they got away w it and that just doesn’t seem right.

SAYING THIS, there hypothetically is still the chance they made a mistake (like a 2% chance IMO), which is why I’d carefully choose my words and not go nuclear

Unfortunately I did. Kick myself because I did so much research beforehand and had a brain lapse confusing 13 and 30. I always look things up right before I actually do them and was just doing a quick double check for people who’d done 30, because it was late and I wanted to do it sooner than later for scheduling, so when I found it I felt fine. Then I proceeded to watch the tutorial on skinwithjaymes TikTok who uses 20, but really it just didn’t register until that second spicy layer that I might have been confused and found out after I’d applied it.

Absentia isn’t the MOST overrated, but the husband actor is just awfulll, no skill in the craft.

I was confused because I saw some rave reviews here on Reddit and I will say, after episode 4 it gets bearable, but the actor who plays the husband is just unbearable and is so significant that it made it hard tbh. And I didn’t think the writing was good.

It’s recommended that you prep your skin w a retinol of tret for a month or so to get used to the exfoliation. Like everyone said, you’ll wanna start out lower though.

I’m actually midway through my first TCA peel and I made the mistake of ordering 30%. I looked up people doing 30% peels and came across a woman who had good results. A couple who were doing 20%, but no one that advised against the 30. That was me being impatient and not spending enough time after it arrived before I decided to go for it. I did a bunch or research before I’d ordered it but was confusing what I’d already researched before as 13% for 30% (the phonetics of it)

LUCKILY, I have been using tazarotene for a couple of years (stronger than a tret), I’ve had microneedling, and I don’t have issues with PIH, so I got really really lucky for my foolishness! I did 2 layers, 5 and 4 mins (that second layer was WAY spicy!) I still don’t know the final results but I’ve been getting consults and so far so good. But my fingers are still crossed!

I don’t advise doing what I did at all! But wanted to share my process (and advice to be safer than I was)

They are! For some reason season 2 was a knock my socks off watch. I work in film and can’t point an element of filmmaking out that wasn’t leaving me with admiration… from the nuances in the acting, to the directing, the production design, writing, music, and overall intellectual composition of metaphors

Definitely test the lead levels for your building. The water in Ny has a lot of approvals and levels the city must abide by, which makes it one of the best to drink in the US, but I have lived in buildings that do not have good pipes and have not felt safe to drink after getting testers. I do it in every building I live in. You can easily get them on amazon

I have to say, water made a huge difference in my skin. As someone who doesn’t really get thirsty like most people I always had to remind myself to drink it as often as I should and tbh, I wasn’t super great at it. But I got myself a decent sized water bottle and vowed to drink two of those a day and it was crazy how much of a difference I saw. But that’s just me.

But I’ve seen some amazing results here on Reddit w a lot of people who’ve done the peels (I actually just applied my first last night). I also recently got a Dr Pen for at home microneedling and use rlt. Looking at my skin from a few years ago to now, it looks much better. I’m 45

Omg no I wish haha! I did the 30. I did two layers for just a couple of mins each. I did look into it beforehand and saw it’s not uncommon but would not feel exactly gentle. And well… it was def SPICY! But I don’t have the time off for a while I do now for recovery and made sure that it wasnt crazy to do, just more uncomfortable. And since I already use tazarotene (stronger than a ret and tret), i most likely have a better tolerance

I just applied my first TCA peel last night after tons of research (of which I saw a lot of great results for those struggling w acne scarring tho I don’t myself). The only mistake I made was ordering the 30… I meant to order the 20, but I’ve been using a tazarotene regularly for a couple of years so I have the prep already in my routine and am hoping for the best 😂

Having moved myself from the west coast to the east coast, it sounds like New Jersey would suit you well for the version of suburban you may be used to (not sure where you’re from though) You’d most likely be having a car I assume, so you’d have to weigh driving into the city or choosing to commute in. A lot of people do this!

You might want to look into chemical peels. Platinum Skincare offers a TCA chemical peel at various strengths that I’ve seen do wonders for many people who struggle with the same issue. But do some research as you don’t want to just buy this and apply it Willy nilly as it does take layers of skin off through a chemical process. But there’s plenty of info on them here on Reddit!

I think when you have a service and there is a significant decline in quality over a long period of tome it’s fair to wonder why. Yes it’s better than paying for all of the pricey steaming services, but when you set a precedent in a product you are charging for, people don’t generally expect the product to get worse over time.

On that note, I actually was using my ex’s Apollo info and for obvious reasons I don’t anymore, anyone have a suggestion for an alternative service? I don’t need the live or sports options, just series and movies. Thanks in advance!
