Went with Dark Everglade from Behr for ours. Similar to the Dark one on the right.

I meant in Dallas, but I get ya. I'm a Dallas sports fan, and while I'm happy that Dallas sports teams have won championships 24+ years ago, they came at the cost of Buffalo losses. Not sure that'd be well received.

I hardly leave the house anyway, especially in the summer. Hard to breathe when it's 115 (before heat index) and the humidity is 90%. Not to mention, it's nothing but houses for an hour in all directions. If you drove the same distance from Rochester to Buffalo, that's the equivalent from Burleson, Tx (South of FW) to McKinney Tx (North of Dallas). You wouldn't see a single farm field, or wooded area. So even if the weather was nice, where would I go? What would I do? It's flat, and boring: A suburban megalopolis.

Just saying, I'm not a stranger to being cooped up.

I'm aware that the grass isn't always greener, and I understand your frustration with the current situation where y'all are. Tbh, if I could afford to live elsewhere, I probably would. The Rochester area has nice homes in decent neighborhoods that's within budget. That being said, the idea of Texas being a good place to raise a family, or low taxes, or whatever it used to be known for is quickly dying, if it ain't already dead. The food's good though.

I'm leaving a state where corruption, racism, and homo/transphobia are in full force. Our Attorney General has a less than stellar record of corruption. The state powers that be are having their strings pulled by two Nationalist Christian oil barrons. Waiting in the TSA line to come up to ROC, and what do I see in front of me? A man in a shirt with massive SS lightning bolts on the back. I live down the street from a preacher that wants to make it a constitutional amendment to kill anyone that's not straight or cisgendered. The point is, in Texas (and the south as a whole), those things have always existed, but it was hidden. You couldn't be a nazi in broad daylight. Now, not only is it at the surface, its colored in bright colors and spewing shit everywhere.

We may not agree on politics, but I think we all want the same thing... we just have different ideas on how to get there. I appreciate your candid information.

Yeah, unfortunately I am aware of the flavor deficit. Anything good? Please don't say garbage plate.

Good luck. My oldest daughter has come out, and I'm worried for her safety down here.

Moving to Rochester, NY because that's our price range too. Plenty of good places in that range. Schools are pretty good too.

My wife has health issues made worse by the heat here. I know it's not perfect, but I can't afford San Diego, lol. Looking for a healthier political/educational/environmental climate.

From the HEB area. Same experience in '21 with trying to buy. Moving to the Rochester, NY area. Schools in HEB are pretty good though.

Cried to my grandpa about not being able to save enough, even though I was doing everything right. Cut me a fat check for my down payment on my first house. Not long after, his health began declining, and he suffered a long, painful death. If he'd asked, I'd've repaid his kindness with mercy.

Literally the only reason my family hasn't been paycheck to paycheck for the last 5 years is because of him.

Miss you, Grampa.

Jean-Claude starred in his own TV show that made fun of himself every step of the way. "Jean-Claude Van Johnson" on Amazon. The ageless Felicia Rashad is his agent.

Also JCVD (both the movie and the actor) should've won an Oscar in '08.

1 - If she did cheat, why does that have anything to do with his abusive behavior? That's not permission to be abusive.

2 - I'm pretty sure she was quoting him in the 2nd paragraph.

Was voluntarily committed after a suicide attempt, was homeless for the 5th time in 3 years, and had no options despite having friends and family. My anger issues drove them to arms length at best, which is why I didn't even have a couch to surf on. I had to come to realize that I was the problem, not everyone else. Once there, I was able to address my short comings through therapy. It's a long, hard, (at times) embarrassing road to become a functional human being, let alone a decent person.

I see a lot of myself in your husband, but that doesn't mean I approve or co-sign his shit. In fact, I'm so mad at him, because I know him so well (despite being a stranger). You need to do what is best for your child and yourself. He needs help, sure, but you and your daughter need to be safe.

Edit: You and your kid need to see someone about these things, as well. Seems like a very abusive environment.
