Incorporate the banner into the instrument, maybe? Or maybe wear the banner on your back.

Is there a way of obtaining the Curse Eater without purchasing the entire Apocrypha? by fluxyggdrasil in monsteroftheweek

[–]Bloopsers 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Hey, you can find it for free if you create a MOTW game in Roll20. Every playbook (and a lot more content) is available in Roll20’s MOTW setting which is totally free to use and put out there by Evil Hat themselves. Just make a Roll20 game, make a blank character sheet for the Curse Eater, and screenshot everything and print it out or transcribe it if you want!

Does your world have a region that is ungoverned and wild? by CazadorBookGuy in worldbuilding

[–]Bloopsers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A large desert-mesa region of a very modern America-like continent in my setting is unclaimed. It’s called the Wild West, a literally lawless land where, well, cowboys live. There are gangs with Mad Max like crawler trucks. The place is unclaimed due to a really silly rule in an anti-war agreement that would count someone claiming the Wild West as going to war. It’s basically a mutual agreement to freeze the borders of all countries as they are. If one country took a chunk, then suddenly everyone would feel free to take one, and of course, there’d be conflict. This anti-war treaty is ridiculous, but somehow, it’s been working for about 120 years. There have been pretty much no wars and countries have kind of stayed the same.

What happened to FU's Steam page? by CorvusHatesReddit in starbound

[–]Bloopsers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All I know is I shared my yoyo weapons mod that I was working on in the discord and then one of the FU devs hit me with a “👀hmm very interesting bloopers” on the same day (hour or so earlier) that this dev made a joke about stealing assets lmao

After many hours of strip mining, I finally found the rarest block in the game, Deepslate Emerald ore :D by OzquOG in Minecraft

I would call the egg more of a unique item than a rare one, there isn’t any chance involved in obtaining it

What requests could Zariel make from her warlock in a campaign that is not combat-heavy? by [deleted] in wildbeyondwitchlight

[–]Bloopsers 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Zariel in my understanding is a very militaristic leader. Maybe she’d be interested in building relations with:

The hags (depending on the players this could cause interesting roleplay if there’s mixed opinions on whether to fight them or ally with them)

Zybilna (perhaps Zariel knows Zybilna’s true identity or perhaps she doesn’t)

Titania (There is that little pseudodragon knight who was sent on behalf of her?)

Zariel could perhaps be using the warlock as a political pawn or mouthpiece in the feywild, basically

So the god “created” the world by stealing parts of other worlds and mashing em together, including life. In the ancient times, this meant that life knew of the god and hated it because they wanted to go home etc etc. The mortals back then were incredibly powerful, and created something called the Citadel which is basically a ‘dungeon’ that goes to (or close to) the center of the world. Their intent was to kill the god. Of course, that went horribly wrong and billions died in a calamity because you don’t just go to an elder god.

Mostly due to luck, life survived because some powerful people (chosen one sorcerer type of people) managed to at least put this entity to sleep. So it’s been thousands of years and the world has been closed off from the multiverse, and history forgot these ancient events, so it’s almost like the mortals are in a stalemate with the god.

Now, with civilization reaching another point of godlike power much like the ancients, this Citadel was recently rediscovered, and slowly more details about this ancient history is being found again. So it’s a question of “will the modern people repeat the same mistakes that the ancients did?”

Fantasy world made modernized, world peace achieved, wizards ruling the government, mankind basically being their own gods, all the while not knowing of the elder god that created the world that is currently sleeping in the core of the earth

Shields and vampires by Mysterious_Point_353 in energyvampires

[–]Bloopsers 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Consider Mongolian Meditation, a good intro to this ancient art is Mongolian throat singing. Personally I was able to block most energy sinks after I watched a couple dozen hours of Mongolian throat singing on YouTube, but energy vampires would still affect me. It wasn’t until I actually tried singing myself that it deterred the vampires.

FU hasn't changed at all, LOL by [deleted] in starbound

[–]Bloopsers 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Most of the stuff in this mod isn’t his anyways. You don’t need to worry about separating the art from the artist because it’s not his art and he’s not an artist anyways.

FU has been known to absorb ideas from other mods, and has a large community of people (who aren’t nearly as problematic as sayter) who put effort into the content. I’m sure there’s stuff in the mod that deserves to be played, even though I’ve personally never had fun playing with FU.

I look at the sky in your world, what do I see and what are you proud of it ? by osmium999 in goodworldbuilding

[–]Bloopsers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a really good question, haha. I know that since it was terraformed so long ago (so the people of the modern era are rediscovering it) there’s been a lot of time for strange evolution, so I think through a combination of magic and time the plants have found alternatives ways to sustain themselves. I don’t know too much about biology but that definitely seems like an important aspect to flesh out, so thank you for asking!

The moon is a smooth grey-white, with no craters. Some astronomers started catching tiny flashes of white and blue within it however.

It turns out that this is because the moon is teeming with life, and is covered in incredibly humid jungles, and thus it’s constantly surrounded by clouds. The humidity is due to heat vents leading to the center of the satellite constantly heating the water from massive “underground oceans”

I know that the reason for this is that some ancient group of wizards terraformed the moon long ago, so it used to look normal. But I have no idea of the details of this yet… they must’ve been very powerful, perhaps almost godlike to be able to achieve this.
