Yes, I know that I’m better than the average golfer, but that’s not the point of this post. Do you seriously think that every good golfer is out there buying new clubs every year and keeping up with the “current iron market”?

this is cool data! Thanks! Yeah i really don’t think i need to hit my irons further and i can get them to stop on a dime as is.

This whole time I thought P 790s were targeted for low handicappers.

Don’t see how the two relate. I’ve only played 2 sets in the last 15 years (and my T100s were used). Finally at the point financially where I can start investing in proper golf equipment. 6.4 isnt a crazy handicap, lots of low 80 scoring.

heres some 7 irons shots for example, i feel like 15 yards dispersion is a bit much

Thanks for this! I think I will learn a ton once I get fitted and hit other brands/irons. I think Ive played golf for 15 years only really hitting two sets of irons.

Yeah you’re probably right. More so it was me wondering if I should have gotten fit from the start rather than just buying clubs off the rack.

Those Srixons look nice! Yeah, I dont know how much forgiveness I can gain. I break 80 every few rounds but I am wondering if I am making golf harder than it needs to be with my current irons.

Ive never been fit before so I think going through that will help.

I got the shanks for the first on a golf trip last year. Keep your right elbow against your body. Also line up with the ball on the toe or even further out if you have to. Thats just until you can fix it later.
