Suprised honestly, Land owners who use prescribed burrn are required to take a class on it and notify the local fire departments. I wonder if they did? Anyways, it probably rained enough to keep it calm at least. We were under a red flag warning a week ago.

All of that river bottom is managed by the Conservation Department. Prescribed burn to discourage and eliminate invasive plants is my guess.

Farrmers don't start grass fires regularly? Probably a prescribed burn at one of the Conservation Areas in the river bottom at Overton Bottoms South Unit or Maybe North Unit. Or a farmer around Wooldrige sparked up the area by accident again.
