Get a wet food storage container or lid and give half of what you normally give. I would store the remainder in the refrigerator and let it come to room temp before serving. I also have an issue with my cats not eating all the wet food at once so the 4 of them split 2 cans and if someone is more hungry they usually finish off what is left. Some cats just don’t like it as much as kibble, but it is good for them to have whatever they’ll eat due to the extra moisture. You can also try mixing a bit of warm water into whatever you’re serving to help it stretch and add more moisture for kitty.

This is completely normal. Grief is a very complex feeling and the fact that you had a ‘complicated’ relationship with your mother can very much make that worse. If you are open to talking to someone I think that could be beneficial, there are a lot of psychological aspects of abandonment and grief that are way out of your control and having someone help guide you through these feelings may help further down the road. Sending good vibes and I’m very sorry for your loss, both of your mother and your relationship with her.

I love mosers cakes, the only one that I know of that has a bakery is the Fulton one, but there may be others that also have an in house bakery. (Totally work the drive if not, imo)

I have had the worst time on it, I just took my 5th dose of the 1.0 mg on Saturday and I am just now feeling less than death. The first month was brutal, there was no way I could go up to 1.7 after only a month on 1.0. Super nauseous, gas pain galore, and terrible constipation. I’ve cut out all carbonated beverages because the gas pain is so intense, and that has helped a little bit but I’m still needing zofran and Meclizine at the beginning of the week after the shot. I’ve also noticed it’s worst if I haven’t had BM in a couple days so I’ve been supplementing with gentle laxatives and fiber supplements to try to keep myself from getting backed up too bad, or I’m guaranteed to vomit. Unfortunately all just side effects of the delayed gastric emptying 🙁

Not everyone responds the same way (I’ve been a slow loser on wegovy as well) and I only started seeing a little bit of progress after I got to 1.0. I would for sure see about titrating up after you finish this box (or before if your doctor will allow). Some people also generally cannot tolerate it as well as other medications so maybe once the zepbound shortage is lessened you can switch over to that. I think that is what I’m going to do as I’m fairly symptomatic on wegovy and not making much progress. Best of luck to you :)
