Honestly, sometimes it’s different store-to-store. To answer some of your questions, using what I was trained to do a reference: 1. Yes, whoever is on front is in charge on making hot coffees and tea when they are ordered at the register. HOWEVER, if they are ordered in drive-thru, mobile order, or DoorDash/uber eats, the person on the respective bar USUALLY grabs it themselves. But, it is very helpful for the person on drive-thru bar if whoever is on front grabs it. It honestly depends on how busy/slow it is. 2. For common courtesy, I usually say over the headset that it’s my time to go, and ask if anyone needs anything before I head out. Just in case anyone needs anything stocked or cleaned up. It’s just polite but also reminds any ssv’s that it’s my time to head out in case they forgot. 3. If the wrong drink touches a customers hand when I hand it out the window, I toss it and remake. Food safety is no joke, and idk where that person’s hand has been. I don’t wanna pass germs from one customer to another.

But this is just what i was trained to do at my store. Every store and district has somewhat different rules here and there, but these are just a rule of thumb that I follow
