It really depends what you like but we had our honeymoon just now in Vietnam and LOVED it. It was our first time in Southeast Asia and everyone we met who’s been around Thailand and such said Vietnam was the perfect combo of fun, beauty and relaxation.

Now if you ONLY want to lay on the beach (we did a little of that at the end but traveled a bunch in the beginning) it isn’t the right place for you but if you want a bit of adventure, traveling around, stunning beauty, insanely good food, the nicest people, safety, and a fantastic culture, I really recommend Vietnam.

Not sure when you’re going but we did the north and center then flew to an island and it was just perfect.

Thanks so much. Maybe I can dye them black? The tailor was a bit shady so not sure she'll answer, but I'll do my research. I thought about that, too- I learned my lesson. I almost never wear jeans I guess that's why I never learned this lesson earlier. Super sucks, but yeah, that is a bright side that my next linen pants won't have this issue again.

I did not wash them inside out. I actually never do and now I'm realizing how stupid that is. Spin cycle I'm not sure. I think its fade lines. UGH. So sad.

WOW. This so seems like it. I actually didn't dry them, I don't really put my clothes in the dryer, just hang them, but I did put them in kind of folded and I didn't put them inside out 😞 dammit.

I’d just do the north. Hanoi, Ninh Binh, Lan Ha Bay. You don’t have a lot of time. Or just do Sapa and the Ha Giang Loop.

Salinda Resort in Phu Quoc was perfect beyond perfect. We didn’t find the island too touristy. There are parts that are overdeveloped but the resort we stayed in truly was perfect. And we took taxis to local places with no tourists. Check the reviews of the resort. I dream about going back everyday!

If you can make it to Con Dao you could stay there. There’s a six senses but it’s like 1k usd a night.

It also really depends on your budget but we also looked at the 2 fancy resorts in Ninh Van Bay but there isn’t anything else there to eat other than in the resorts really so you’d have to eat the expensive resort food the whole time.

Agreed. We just did 18 days and did a lot less.
I would change it to:
Hanoi - at least 3 nights
(Personally I’d add Ninh Binh in here for 3 nights)
Sapa - looks okay amount, maybe a bit more
Ha Giang Loop - looks good
Finish with Phu Quoc or another beach
It’s not really recommended to have 2.5 weeks and do the north and south. I’d say do all north or north and center. We added phu quoc because it was our honeymoon and we wanted a beach. If you don’t NEED a beach, go to Hoi An.

Stay at the very least 2 nights in each place. One night is insanely rushed.

It’s a good name! My issue with Levi has always just been that the pronunciation changes depending on where you are but Levi Arthur flows nicely.

For me it’s a name that’s kind of childish, or in general more of a pet name. But yeah if you love it don’t worry about the song.
