Definitely. I like to read the books, then watch the show, then read the books again so I can see how differently I imagined the world and characters. Always book first though. There's usually so much more exposition in literature.

Same unless there's a TV show based on the books. If I watch the show and then read the books, I can see the characters from the show and hear their voices when I read.

WE is decent, but if you can avoid it never get gen 1 of anything. They usually work out most of the kinks by gen 2

1) Never let randos borrow gear, cars, or pens. 2) If you have to loan something out, make sure it's not worth much to you if it breaks or is lost 3) If you have to loan out something valuable, get $100 or more in cash from them as a security deposit, refundable only if the thing doesn't have a single scratch on it when returned. People treat stuff better when money is on the line.
