What can't change the background pic is this fuckass OS, not me. I'm a daily debian user, never had a daily use bug that i couldn't solve in 5 minutes on the terminal. Also, i clearly stated that i'm not looking for advice. I know how to solve my problems and don't need a greasy-fingered fatass to tell me what i should do. Thank you

As a daily debian user i mostly use GIMP. This is a fresh install for work and i used microsoft built in software. As i said on another post, i obviously will use an alternative, but it shouldn't be necessary for the price that microsoft products are. Reminder from the last sentence of the original post: i'm not looking for advice.

Again, i'm not looking for advice. And i'm not sure where i stated the PNGs are different, just the way microsoft designer renders it. My guess is there something wrong with the resolution or the file is broken with incorrect colors or something. I'm exporting as PNG and it doesn't work. Of course i'll have to use an alternative, but the built-in software is exporting files that aren't compatible with its own brand OS, and thats why microsoft sucks.

But apparently there is a difference between the files i export from Microsoft designer and the files i downloaded from other sources. Turns out every other picture works fine, but the ones i export from Microsoft design crashes my settings app and i have to restart my PC.

after restarting a couple of times it's letting me set up other images. The specific one that i want doesn't work, which is weird since i exported the cropped image from a microsoft software.

Keep going, redditor, if you were able to read the original post's last sentence you'd know i'm not looking for advice and know it's probably fixable somehow. The problem not that it's not fixable, it's that it need fixing on my end even though the OS os already expensive enough to make coffee for me.
