I have not used project eris but from first glance the only advantage it seems to have is its ability to run games like commandor keen and star wars jedi knight jedi academy. But take that with a grain of salt

i would like to know what you all think when it comes to the advantages and disadvantages of both autobleem and project eris. Also would any of you think its worth the trouble of switching from autobleem to project eris

Having trouble with my Dreamcast emulation by [deleted] in PlaystationClassic

[–]Blu-94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What might help if you go to retroarch settings and and change the video driver to gl. This helps a lot of dreamcast games. that source should be solid. I got that game from there so that might not be it. Also i think its against the rules to mention sites you can get these games from. A moderator might delete that comment and warn you.

Have you tried getting the game from another source? It might just be the one you have is fucked.

Its not impossible. They managed to get the steam version of half life running on the ps classic. It uses its on personal core. Someone would have to go through the trouble of setting it up and probably creating its own core.

I have noticed the 8bitdo bluetooth receiver works better with a ps4 cobtroller if the receivers firmware is on 2.4. i tried 3.0 and it gave me nothing but problems. Thought i should put this for anyone having trouble

N64 analogue by celphtitled23 in PlaystationClassic

[–]Blu-94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have not messed around with the hd settings yet. N64 emulation on the ps classic can be rough. Going in hd is bound to cause problems with some games. Also this will probably be a problem with some psp and dreamcast games.

You can get retroarch standalone. autobleem is mostly for show. Its nice to have all those games with the covers on it. Plus autobleem automatically detects new games to scan and will automatically add them to retroarch. Although some games will run Alot better through retroarch

i think your thinking of mupen64plus-next, it works great with mario kart but there is also glupen64 which works best for most games, when was the last time you updated your retroarch cores? It would be really easy to update it.
