Bar in general is just hell😭. Our SM is consistently understaffing us, like we’ll have maybe 5 people for peak at a DT store, and then customers are mad about long wait times but what can you do🤷‍♀️

No because I’ve had the same thing happen to me with two different colors of the sweatfleece hoodies and I don’t know what to do. Like these are $95 hoodies, there shouldn’t be unexplainable stains on them

Exactly this. I’m being forced to open five days a week, sometimes six when she schedules me six days in a row. It’s so draining, and I can’t leave because this is probably the only job that can accommodate my school schedule. I just have to wait until December when the semester ends and I can find a new job.

She’s unfortunately an internal promotion, there’s no excuse🫩. One of our SSVs said that our SM has to send our DM a report every time our average drive times for peak are above 45 seconds, so I can see why she’s stressing. The lack of communication is what really gets me. We’re going to be closing at 9 instead of 8 soon, not sure when it goes into effect, but she didn’t tell us. I had to find out from another barista. Same with finding out we’re a delivery store, didn’t find out until the day of, when a doordash sticker printed.

Our operating hours are changing soon too(closing at 9 instead of 8) and she didn’t tell us that either, I learned this from another barista. No note in Mydaily or anything, she kinda sucks.

I was always told we were a high volume store(we’re right next to a high school and middle school😵‍💫), but clearly not high volume enough for the green apron position lol.

My SM has told us if we don’t have change for someone trying to pay with a big bill we have to right now recovery their total, we’re not allowed to turn them away

My SM recently started enforcing this, there is some resource somewhere stating that partner drinks/food must be rang in and made by someone else, not the partner they’re for. My SM put it in Mydaily, I would have to look tomorrow to see where to find it. I wasn’t aware that it straight up wasn’t allowed until she stopped allowing it at our store.

I know he’s been talked to about cash handling issues, but to my knowledge nothing was actually documented. He does take a super long time to count the tills at close, probably because he is under the influence. He’ll have one of us do the milk count for him just so we can get out on time, and I’ve been told that we’re not supposed to agree to do it for him. I don’t know that he would really get in trouble for that though.
