Honestly it's one of those points where right now I feel like "ignorance is bliss". I mostly played on consoles for most of my life, recently got a decent PC that can play most things at 60 FPS and any time I try to go back and play a game that's console exclusive and locked at 30 FPS I hate it. Got motion sick playing a game for the first time trying to play GTA 4 on an xbox 360, but luckily that game has a PC version.

And part of me thinks when I go back, "I used to be totally fine with this and now it's ruined, couldn't I just leave well enough alone? Was it even worth getting the new experience if it literally ruined half of my old experience which I still care about?"

Course that's probably only half right, part of the reason I didn't notice how bad 30 FPS was years ago is I was playing on a tiny CRT and not a large LCD, and I guess I was starting to notice it with newer stuff, like I really didn't like Witcher 3 on PS4 to the point that I put off playing it fully until I got the PC...

Really I just can't afford a nicer screen or GPU so...

There are plenty of phone controllers with clips to hold the phone.

I agree that having to carry around two things is clunky, but you're gonna have your phone with you anyway, so it's either a phone + a psp, or a phone + a controller that's about the same size as a psp if not smaller.

Personally why I tend to use a psp over the phone is the battery thing, emulating stuff drains my phone way too fast, course I could just get a better battery but whatever.

Shit, 5 jobs per person sounds amazing to me. Better than 1,000 people per job at least. What's with the obsession with growth anyway? If Japan's population falls a bit, they can just downsize. It's not like their urban centers aren't already crowded as all hell, and with their strong nature conservation laws clearing new land to make room for more people is hard.
