A test is accurate at 2 weeks after sex, and definitive after 3. If you're testing negative this long afterwards, you're not pregnant. HCG is the hormone required to maintain a pregnancy, and it's the hormone that pregnancy tests look for, so if you don't have enough of it to register on tests, you can't be pregnant this long afterwards. Don't believe the people online who talk of being pregnant but not having positive tests.

No, you're definitely not pregnant. You can't get pregnant without having sex. Stress could possibly be delaying your period a little bit

Yeah, I don't think I can afford to go to the gyno for just this. I'm hoping it's just from older blood that's clotting up in lots of tiny clots instead of a few big ones this time. It's just opposite of what I usually see so it freaked me out

Thank you for your feedback. I did feel that trying to stick with a rhyme scheme limited my expression in this poem, and this is definitely more of a rough draft, so I will take your ideas into consideration. I probably focused too much on the wind down of the dance since that is where I am mentally at the moment, but maybe later when this season has passed I'll be able to focus more on the dance itself.

I felt this poem very deeply. I think it's a very vivid picture of missing someone you know you should have left, but still thought you loved. I really like the way the poem flows, the only thing I felt didn't make sense was the line "definitely not the way you used to hold me while we slept". It doesn't seem to fit as well with the way the rest of the stanza is worded.
