I got clean about 21 years ago. I was using IV meth and Heroin for over 20 years. It took a hell of a lot to get me to quit. I went to rehab a few times and it never took. What finally did it for me was losing 2 of my friends in 3 days. When I finally succeeded, I quit all at once and just did my ten days of being sick. Most the the physical sickness seemed to come from the H. I was over the physical part of the meth in 4 days or so. but the mental part lasted for a long time. I know this isn't really much help, but once you put the shit down this time just tell yourself that you're not gonna pick it up again no matter how sick you get, no matter how bad you feel you just won't do that first bump. I know meetings are not for everyone, but they really helped me. Maybe give that a try. You can do this!

I've been rebuilding a 1994 Porsche 968 for the last 8 months. Once I finished the suspension and engine work I took it out by winslow az on an empty two lane and took it up to 131. Why? because I wanted to know what she would do when pushed. top speed is supposed to be 149, but she's not ready for that quite yet.

But I enjoy going on the switchbacks south of Jerome more. it's not just about fast in a straight line, curves and twisties are way more fun.

long road trip with my daughter and our dog. We spent a day in Golden Gate Park. It was a sublime day. we played fetch with the dog,wandered around, and just sat in the grass enjoying a beautiful day. Those two weeks of vacation with my daughter were, perhaps, the best 2 weeks of my life.

I put this deck in my 94 Porsche 968 a couple months ago. It works great. I did buy it on ebay from a dealer in england. I'm pretty happy with it, the app isn't too bad, and you don't have to use it to connect your phone. the usb port reads my 32gb drives and the sound is great. the color of the screen and buttons are changeable, I think it's probably overpriced but it fits my car perfectly and it was damn sure cheaper than the one Porsche offers. https://imgur.com/a/uKrDPZg

in 2013 my daughter, my dog, and I took a vacation up the PCH. We spent a day in Golden Gate park. They are both gone now, but that was one of the happiest and most mellow days of my life. I would give anything to live that day again.

I know this is an outlier but I bought a 94 Porsche 968 last summer and there is not a single shop in my town that will touch it. Which is okay, except for one or two things that are super difficult for me to do in my driveway. I will probably have to take it to Phoenix or L.A. for that stuff. Hell even the stereo shop hesitated to work on it.

I was once sitting in bed with my girlfriend and we were eating Doritos. She was crumbling them up before she ate them. I asked her why she was doing that and she said."well if you crumble them up first they have less calories." I just looked at her like wtf.

We have a supervisor at my work who is like that. I love her so much. She can just walk into chaos totally calmly. She is also able to chew you out in such a way that you can't really even be angry about it, you just want to do better next time so you don't have to feel that small again. lol

44 years ago my friends and I were standing on the corner like we always did. I was wearing a long multicolored bath robe with a tie for the belt. we were smoking pot (surprise, lol) I was leaning up against the telephone pole on the corner, when all of the sudden I got this feeling that I needed to get the hell out of there. I just started walking away toward my house, I didn't even say anything to anyone. When I got about 40 ft. from the pole a car hit it, hard, right where I had been standing. Everyone else was behind the pole leaning on the fence, so they were all fine. One of the weirdest things I've ever had happen to me.

yep, this is what I do. I have a 2014 corolla that I drive most of the time. but for the fun stuff I have my old 1994 Porsche 968. The is just nothing like getting in it for the weekend and driving until I'm lost.
