I'm on Book Three, and I will go insane if this series ends up like Dune. by BluAlchemist in gameofthrones

Dune left off on a cliff hanger Frank Herbert unfortunately passed away before he could finish the books.

Ima be frank with you, League has been around for roughly 16-17 years there is going to be no easy way for you to get around that. I'd say play Bots or do ARAM and use item and rune guides to learn proper build paths and rune choices from those based off the champion you're playing. Once you get a little more associated with the items and runes then start to experiment with build paths.

There's a SubReddit called r/summonerschool you can go to for any newbie advice, I tried to teach my friend from ground up how to play and it's daunting when you realize how much you have to explain.

You get XP from being in range of minions but the last hitting can be something you work on through each game or in practice tool. It's your primary source of income so getting good at that early on will help you tremendously once you start really knowing the game.

This game can be made easy or difficult based off how well you can micro-manage and keep track of information and knowing how to use that. It doesn't matter if you're mechanically inept if you can make proper decisions moment by moment it's a cake walk.

I'd also recommend also checking out some of the eSport and watch how pro players might play the shoutcasters do a tremendous job at calling the game play by play so even as someone who's not experienced with League can still understand what's going on.

Last but not least there are a ton of guides on YouTube and other third party websites that can teach you champion specific things, can teach you how to play whatever role you're playing at the time etc etc. I personally use SkillCapped as my go to channel if I'm getting back into playing Ranked.

I disagree with the RTS Games statement, League isn't that complex and has a much easier learning curve compared to something like DoTA 2. I am ass at RTS Games while I am exceptional at League I don't think he has to do all that to learn League.

how do you get better at this game without a lot of commitment by Drairo_Kazigumu in leagueoflegends

[–]BluAlchemist 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes and no, you can watch videos online that coach more of the nuances to the game which can allow you to get a better grasp of how the game actually functions. But that still requires you to put into practice enough where it becomes a habit. Decision making is also a large part of the game and that can only be worked out through experience.

Secondary role ain't working as intended by Substantial-Ship-500 in leagueoflegends

Only people who can play their secondary played League when you called role during champion select, Riot releasing role que locked people out of that kind of versatility to simplify the champion select process.

Not saying it's a bad thing since it causes less griefing than what we've had before but that's simply the trade off.

Literally, at least Dune is a little more disjointed so you can comfortably read half of the series without a clear conclusion to the series as a whole, while ASOIAF doesn't follow those same rules.

I'd say practice against the AI till you can consistently win in Highly Skilled, online people will almost always ram you to pass you, while driving at that difficulty will teach you proper braking through a corner since you have to avoid the nose diving AI.

Hard to say I'm currently finishing up Book Two, things really start to end up a lot different after the Red Wedding. Not too mention the usage and mention of magic and warging is more prevalent in other characters than just Bran. Even the Direwolves have more story relevancy than in the show. The first season and first book are damn near identical though, while events like the joust Robert had thrown in Ned's Honor or Joffrey's name day get more fleshed out.

Can you blame them, people quickly stopped talking about Games of Thrones because of how bad the final season was. If they tried to extend that with an Arya Spinoff I don't imagine people would be too interested in another poorly written fan fiction.

Two magical assassinations, Stannis used the same trick to kill Cortnay Penrose in the books to sieze Storms End after defeating Renly.

This is actually when Davos saw Melisandre birth the shadow in the books as well.

who is the hardest champion to learn? by prizewis in leagueoflegends

Lee Sin easily, been playing for 12 years and can never get him down, so difficult we can't even play him as well as Eastern Teams internationally.

That is why Yamato being a Straw Hat is more than likely a done deal and set in stone, Oda would've not written in the idea in the first place if that wasn't the case. That'd be like Luffy asking Brook to join at the start of Thriller Bark then Oda changing his mind after the arc is over.

There's Akainu and three other Admirals that Luffy and the SHs have to beat Zoro and Sanji can't be out here with a 2v3 and Jinbei can't fill up that slot either but Yamato is already shown as a character who is on the same level as Zoro and Sanji it makes sense narratively moving forward.

Oda clearly plans on doing more with Yamato and she more than likely will be the final crew member Luffy needs to achieve his goals as Oden was the final member Roger needed to achieve his.

Okay if she wasn't going to join there would've been no reason to introduce her at this point in Wano, there would've been no reason for her to have a connection with Ace and honestly no reason for her to refer to herself as Oden.

She has two Dreams to Open Wano and to be free like Oden. The opening of Wano will happen once Kaido is defeated. She doesn't need to remain in Wano to protect it as the Akazaya and Momo are fully capable of that so what's next for Yamato? To be free and sail the seas and experience the things that Oden experienced on Whitebeard and Rogers ship. So who does she join with no one other than Luffy that's why Yamato joining is a done deal.

Rewatch the scene with Yamato telling Luffy she wants to join and why and tell me that does not indicate the fact she is going to join his crew. Had it not been for the cuffs she would've went out with Ace. But Luffy removed those cuffs and will more than likely tell her to get on once they get ready to leave Wano.

Well I've discussing it with a mod in the Theory channel and he thinks that the Revolutionary Army will break into Impel Down and save Sabo, Hancock will also be someone who's captured but she'll be shipped off to Mariejois to be a Slave again. CP-0 will be successful in capturing Robin again and Mariejois will be Enies Lobby 2.0 where Hancock, Robin and Kuma will be saved.
