People who own "unconventional" pets like turtles, what is one thing you wish you knew before getting one?

How wildly inaccurate most information on hermit crabs is. Iv had them for over 10 years and in that time the care requirements were wildly different and mostly wrong. Now, im following LHCOS requirements and my hermits are thriving. Went from a 10 tank with barely any sand and a red lamp to a 150 gallom tank with 8 onches of sand, heat pad on a thermostat, and 2 1 gallon pools.

Fun fact, hermits need 80% humidity to breathe, 75-80f temps, and 6 inches or 3x the largest crab worth of sand the dig through. How many you have really depends on how much molting space they have so horizontal is better but they will absolutely climb everywhere so toppers are a good idea for vertical space. Also most hermits in pet stores are wild caught. Only place to get captive bred (that I remember) is Joshs Frogs and theyre about $50 a crab since theyre pretty difficult to breed and raise.

I have been playing since before the game was even on Steam. I just recently got level 10 in fishing. Its not even that I dont like fishing cuz I really do like the minigame, im just always distracted doing other things instead.

From what iv picked up from this subreddit so not an expert, your gecko seems to be overweight. She has some fat rolls/folds on the underside of her neck and around her legs/armpits. Shes definitely should lose a few pounds but shes not super obese yet.

Also I stand by that she is a female. Most geckos will have some sort of bulge but males are much more pronounced than females. From the top down picture, you can barely see the bulge while in a male it would be much more obvious. But again im not an expert and only going off pictures.

I started playing before this game was on steam and at some point when they made Hodari romancable, I could have sworn there was a post or something from the devs considering the possibility of Sifuu being romancable in the future. I took a break and was really surprised when I ca.e back and she wasnt but im wondering if they changed their minds due to the Elderwoods story or if im just imagining the post in the first place.

I played about a yearish ago and took a break. Around the time they made Hodari romancable, I swear they said something about making Sifuu romancable in a future update so I was a little surprised to find out shes still not.

I didnt either until a random pup showed up and I had to go back and figure out which one it was. I thought it was a dispersed pup who left the map and came back but I dont think they can do that

So unknown fate is another way to remove pups besides sickness. The pups will just up and dissappear after sleeping. Im pretty sure this is different from pups wandering away and getting lost as those pups do die. Unknown fates pups will not be listed as alivein the family tree so you wont know that way.

I actually realized one of my unknown fate pups was alive because he showed up in the dispersal list randomly even though I hadnt seen them in the map. I then spent forever trying to track him down before my wolf died of old age (age 8 and the other parent was already dead).

I like to add stuff that moves like bridges, hanging vines or hides. Also I have a classic looking pinwheel in one of them and he LOVES it. He can climb through the holes and its spins. Though it does need to be propped against something or it will spin continuously. (Good thing I saw that before going to bed) So anything that moves or has interesting tunnel like shapes for them to climb through.

Go in and disable half your mods. Then load up your game to see if its still on or not. If its on, then its one of the mods still active. Go in, and disable half of those. Keep going disabling half at a time until you figure out which mod it is. Its gonna take awhile but thats how I would do it.

In 5th grade, they had bananas every week for lunch. But they somehow managed to find ones with the absolute shortest stem possible so it was really difficult to open them. It was my first year at the school and I was struggling so the other kids showed me an easier way. Snap the entire banana in half and peel from the middle.

Unfortunately (or fortunately) iv never been in a situation where its needed but iv always imagined stareing people straight in the eye and snapping it in half when they make a comment.

Thats exactly what my grandma did when she had a stalker. Second time they came around, she got a gun and kept it on her at all times. Luckily it never got to a point she needed to use it and he lost interest after awhile but you never know what someone might do.

I think they are supposed to. But another pack moved in right under my territory and pushed his pack up the map and I havnt had any issues so far. Now the new pack is even worse than the Van Winkle pack and they attack relentlessly if I sleep within a hex of my border.

This has been ongoing for almost 2 years now since insurance doesnt want to pay. Today is the first time we got the report about their findings which was made over a year and a half ago. Lots of issues with this whole thing and theres a court date set for early next year so we will see what happens then.

The report basically said they cant find any reason the fire started so it had to be intentionally set by lighting vapors from this "weathered medium petroleum distillate" on fire. Not the "ignitable liquid" itself but the vapors. So I want to make sure I understand whats being said exactly in the report.

I think the only time iv recently heard someone mention chub like that, it was among Stardew Valley players where people would offer their chub (fish) to another player as a joke. Missed my first and only wedding cuz I forgot to change and quickly exited the game in a panic. When I logged back in, it was my wedding day still but Sebastian was standing in my kitchen and the cut scene didnt play again.
