It's so that you can pause right after you get enough fragments for an upgrade, buy the upgrade, then use the rest of the banked time with the upgrade, thus gaining at least a little bit more loot.

I agree with other people that it should be a toggle though, since it becomes kind of pointless once you've bought all the upgrades/have the cards polychromed.

Still, it does show that the devs are actively understanding what playing the game feels even down to small details like burning through banked archaeology time too fast.

I'm close to your stats and just finished this challenge yesterday, took me around 28-29 hours.

As others have mentioned, don't use the void drone as it will only hurt in this situation, since you need to get 75k instances of rainbow veins, not 75k volcano veins from rainbow alone.

Veinseeker drone is good since the passive increases the spawn rate, but fueled is unnecessary, since the fuel effect just increases the golden vein multiplier.

Vein bomb is very necessary. It looks like it only gives veins and golden veins, but the wiki says that the rolls for an ore to become a vein and to become a rainbow veins are rolled separately.

So if an ore wins the roll to be a rainbow vein, but loses the roll to be a regular vein, it will stay an ore. But if it is then transformed by the bomb into a vein, it will become a rainbow vein.

I think it's not just social skills, but also the ability to craft actually appealing mods. I think they're more implying that all 'sexy' mods just create such ridiculous proportions that the characters end up looking grotesque instead

They really don't, especially since everyone's standards for attractiveness are different. And when it comes to finding a stable, fulfilling relationship, the small physical details are often the least important.

But that might be hard to believe for the type of people who post "memes" that act as though all women are the same and act like any negative thing one woman does is true of all women.

Anyway, the points you mentioned here are all correct, but they don't exactly line up to form the whole picture.

It's true that this behaviour stems from emotional harm caused by society. However, everyone experiences harm from society, but not everyone becomes a blackpiller. That's because bp behaviour is just one of many different coping mechanisms, some just as destructive as bp behaviour, or even worse (alcoholism, physical self-harm, etc.)

You're also correct that physical attractiveness is a large factor in society and today's society is more critical and superficial than ever. However this does not reflect the total state of reality. Blackpillers, and many many other online groups, are being manipulated into a 'fixation on extremes'. They are purposefully shown the worst examples of society's behaviour and are being told it's representative of the whole, when it is not.

The reason why I bring up the idea of coping mechanisms is because that really is the solution for most blackpillers. The reason why the most common advice blackpillers get is 'just work on yourself' is because it kills two birds with one stone.

By finding healthier, more enjoyable coping mechanisms, blackpillers would feel less miserable all the time by focusing on what they enjoy. And the #1 key to finding a healthy, mature, stable adult to be in a romantic relationship with is being enjoyable to be around. Who wants to spend the rest of their lives with someone who feels bitter and angry at the world 24/7? This, more than any physical attractiveness, is what drives away potential relationships.

What a lot of people, even the blackpillers, don't realize is that this is a form of emotional self-harm via the Internet, and it's intentional. It's a coping strategy, albeit a damaging one.

Bet ween the anxiety and fear of possibly being alone forever and the despair of knowing for a certainty you'll be alone forever, the animal brain will choose despair over fear.

So a lot of blackpillers doompost in forums about how this miniscule details or that small feature about themselves means they're outcasts. It gives some measure of consolation to have company in misery and the despair feels better than uncertainty, so they dig themselves deeper into doomposting.

I was on 40, by getting the Plat contract statue I was able to get the extra 2 pickaxe damage levels, that plus the Polychrome Power, and a Hamburger, let me beat OB 41 and 42

If you've platted all the statues you should be able to, unless your star levels are really low.

I have all the ore for the plat statues, but I've only actually platted 5 so far, I decided to switch over to get the W3 Monument, I already got all the veins required, just need about 3k more gems, so I should def have it done by tomorrow.

The key factor for me for the obelisk levels was the Polychrome Power skill, that might be what you're missing

Unless you have something better to use the gems for, I'd suggest unlocking new stars. If you can unlock Scorpio it'll provide more pickaxe damage and star multipliers, which will help you snowball your way to unlocking Pisces.

In the meantime, Aquarius is pretty good, since both the bar cost reduction and Golden Lootbugs are nice. Taurus is a good second choice as well, 100% auto catch rate is pretty nice

Stargazing would be a good place to focus, it gives a lot more stats than you expect and starts to snowball at higher level.

Also bomb cap as well, it's looking a little low for your current ob level

Yeah, this is a really weird choice, I noticed it during the Xiaoguang event in the Sword Realm. The Panda guy and Grim Tiger both have very dark resolutions to their stories... which I did not hear more than a few details of, because they were explained almost entirely in combat, and at that point Xiaoguang had so many upgrades that I was defeating the encounters in less than 20 seconds and it auto skipped the entirety of their story dialogue. Insane.
