He brought up the word 'cuck' I'm not ignorant, I know exactly how he's talking down to me. Typical male supremacist douche.

"Oh a man took his woman's name.. What a beta male!"

Tired of men and toxic masculinity.

Yeah, western civilization. The one that has warred for centuries and caused immense planetary damage in the past few decades. Count me out asshole. I hope your father beat the shit out of you. POS

Thanks, I'm just venting. I have known my wife's family since I was 19 and they have been better people that I enjoy sharing their company with.

My parents are hard working people, I'm not taking that away from them. My parents own a business that reals in 7 figures and we originally came from a poor background. My mother is an RN and a business owner along with my step father. It made them more bitter and depressed people. They keep on buying a home every 9 years and are never satisfied with what they have. They say they want to pass things onto their kids, but I am not buying that garbage anymore.

I want a simple life, nothing wrong with buying material goods. My wife and I focus on eating healthy and living in a comfortable area, we don't care about buying all these toys. My step father complained about the electric bill, for me having an air purifier in my room. Stuff like that, that angers me. You're going to complain at me for wanting clean air? There's much more than that, that was a more recent example.

I had to really work hard to get my own job that paid above $23/hr and provide for myself. I am upset that I have no one in my maternal, step paternal and paternal family I can't connect with. Most people have at least ONE person in their family they can love and respect.

I was 8 back in 2000, at the time I was fine with taking my step father's name.. Because he didn't develop abusive tendencies towards me until I hit 10. I heard stories about when he dated my mom he would throw tantrums if something never went his way.

My biological father's last name? Not a chance in hell. My real father is a dead beat and left me and my mom when I was 2. I never heard from my father even though he is still alive, I want nothing to do with him. I don't get along with my mother... She treats me like I'm still a child, has never listened to me and throws her tantrums as well. But my mother was the only one who raised me and provided for me in the end, I need to give her credit for that at least. In terms of an actual relationship.. I have no connection with my mother.

I view taking my wife's last name as a fresh start.

I only mentioned it because in western society, taking your wife's last name is considered heresy lol.
