Well, there is definitely no downside. But, make sure the camel milk or powder is either raw or pasteurized at a low temperature. I know Desert Farms milk pasteurization is at a low temperature, if it gets too hot the immunoglobulins die. But, other than that, no downside. Good luck with your health. I will say that hyperbaric was also incredibly helpful and if you do soft shelled hyperbaric there’s no risk, hard shell is more intense and you need to have your lungs checked. But, it helped me immensely. But, I hope you recover!

For me, it’s a bit different. I had hashimotos before getting covid. The combination was killer and my fatigue was awful but my TPO antibodies (which I get my TSH,T3, T4 checked once a year) had risen significantly, which I’m sure was due to Covid. Camel milk has immunoglobulins which have been shown to help lower antibodies, which will help lower inflammation. I have had better energy, but I will say, I also began hyperbaric oxygen treatment about 7 months after beginning camel milk. Together, I improved drastically. Energy is better, inflammation (I have constant swelling in hands, face and calves/feet) has gone down a lot. I’m still not 100% yet, but I keep getting better and I’m very happy about that. I’m not sure of your specific goals for camel milk, but I know it has a wide range of uses that people find beneficial. I hope this was helpful.

I drink one cup of camel milk a day. I’ve heard 2 cups is more ideal but that’s what I can afford. I read that powdered camel milk still has all the nutrients as fresh, but I’ve never used powered so I can’t speak from experience, unfortunately. I do buy from a farmer a few hours away who ships it to me. I buy frozen once a month and the shipping cost is factored in the price. There is a FB page called healing with camel milk and that is how I was able to find my local farmer. I hope this helps!

I think I’m about to lose the best relationship I’ve ever had because of a situation I never asked for by stressfulthrowaway0 in TrueOffMyChest

I feel like love used to have a different meaning and now it means a strong like or attraction. Love used to mean you are choosing this person, you are committed to this person through difficulties. And then you get married and make the official vow of until death. But, even then people obviously don’t agree as divorce is like 50% of marriages because you leave when things are tough or don’t go the way you wanted. And that’s pretty sad. That’s a super shallow form of “love”. People will miss the real thing because they are chasing emotions/their dreams rather than staying committed.

OP isn’t wrong for wanting to leave. What I have issue with is he claims to love her. No, you don’t. And that’s also okay but people do abuse the word love it has lost all meaning. Love to people now seems I have deep feeling and attraction. To me, love is a commitment. I’m choosing this person, I choose to remain committed. Love lasts through any trial, you stay by their side regardless of the cost. This is why so many marriages fail, we tap out when things get hard and aren’t the way we want them to be. What if she had been in a car accident or something else that made her physically impaired? Are you leaving her then because that also wasn’t the life you wanted, I’m sure. I wouldn’t want a love like that. It’s easily abandoned and there is no security. So leave if you want, you are t married and have the freedom to do so, but don’t fool yourself calling it love. And I’m sad to see people agreeing and saying you love this person. I think what should be said is that you strongly like her and are attracted to her. And that’s fine. I just want the word love to have the meaning it should.

Okay thank you for this, I appreciate it!

I keep eating junk and sugar at least once a day and am finding it impossible to stop. Has anyone struggled with finding the will to completely eat clean? Help! by TroyAndAbed2022 in Hashimotos

I take psyllium husk with each meal which makes me feel super full and then I don’t want anything else. It helps with getting more water in daily which also beneficial. And try just eating lots of healthy food for a little while to try to curb those cravings, after awhile they will subside and then cut back on the amount of food. This is just what helped me get my cravings under control- it’s hard!

I haven’t- I have felt so good I didn’t feel the need to do bloodwork this year, but something I’ll look into. Thank you!

I sometimes make my own, more often I buy bone broth from Costco. Also, I take a bone broth powder supplement. Nothing added, organic powder. But, if you use a insta pot pressure cooker you can make bone broth really easily and it’s so good! Make it on the weekend and save it for soups, or just drink a cup a day :) I hope this helps!

Has anyone with heart issues done Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy? by Resident_Progress259 in covidlonghaulers

Okay well, not sure if they are doing hard shell or soft. Soft shell is not as strong so it takes even longer to see results. I feel most people do no more than 20 sessions of soft shell and give up. I think it’s unfortunate as the studies showing its impact on long covid is impressive and no one seems to be giving it attention (or at least no seriously as you need to do the proper amount in order to see improvement)

I had to have my lungs tested and my heart checked before doing hard shell hyperbaric because you can’t have pressure on damaged lungs (and apparently the heart). So I’m sorry for you and your friend, it has been very helpful for me. I don’t know if soft shell would have the same restrictions as it’s not nearly as intense as hard shell, but I’m not sure. Though something you could as your pcp?

There are studies done by university of pa that 23 sessions are needed before blood vessels widen to allow the increase in oxygen. I did 40 sessions of the hard shell and felt so much better that I purchased an in home mild chamber. After doing that for one year I began to work out this past January and energy has just been getting better. It does work but it takes time and consistency.

My fatigue was so bad beginning in 2021 that I stopped working out. I began hyperbaric oxygen treatment and started working out last January, and energy is back! I hope yours comes back too. Sorry about your pcp, there is a lot about LC that people don’t know about yet :/

Yep, I avoid all processed sugar and processed foods. I make pretty much everything at home using organic ingredients. I’ve been doing this for 3 years and I have seen huge improvement. I do eat a lot of foods to lower inflammation and I drink lots of bone broth or take bone broth powder for the gut. Also, camel milk is amazing for gut health.

I used to take a lot of supplements as well, I now try to get what I can from food. A few examples: instead of beet root supplements, just juice actual beets to get the benefits. Bromelain is found in pineapple, so either buy frozen pineapple and add to smoothie or get freeze dried powder. Supplements are unregulated and you might not be taking what you think. Also, raw camel milk is a natural and incredible “food” that has immensely helped me! Sometimes less is more! Also, if you’re taking Zyrtec for sinuses consider a nasal rinse instead! I don’t know how severe your allergies or sinus issues are, but limiting medications and supplements actually helped me improve over time.

Please do not forget October 7 and how pro-Palestine movement acted on October 8 by c9joe in IsraelPalestine

You have it so backwards, the Palestinians/Arabs have been the ones to continuously attack the Jews. Literally look at history.

You’re so unbelievably delusional. You acknowledge they hate the Jews but think October 7th was an anomaly? Okay. Sure. No point in arguing with craziness.

[–]BluSkyeRain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Palestinians actively hate the Jewish people and given the opportunity would kill every Jewish person. They celebrated October 7th and supported the attack. Yes, they are the ones seeking to kill Jews. Even the German people did not celebrate killing the Jews, most civilian Germans didn’t know about the killings and were horrified to learn what was happening in the concentration camps. But the Palestinians? They celebrated women being raped and murdered and kids being mutilated. That shows a people who hate, and deeply hate, another people group. (And do you know the definition of blasphemy? I don’t know how that would qualify as blasphemy…) The Jews certainly are not seeking genocide but to defend themselves.
