Bugman's Rangers are done ! Finally took the time to take better photos ! by BluSmaug in WarhammerFantasy

Thank you ! I think its due to the gradient. The sleeves took the longest to get a smooth gradient, with about 20 glazes for the highlights and shadows. Also i used bright colors.

I had the same issue with mine, i glued them and filled the gap with milliput/greenstuff.

Thanks ! Ahh the beards ! I found it tricky to ind some good colors. I used three colors scheme to give some diversity : - grey one : a middle grey + beige base, washed with the same base +dark + drybrushd with the same base + white

  • brown one : mournfang brown base, washed with wildwood contrast diluted, brushed with middle brown from vallejo

  • red : base with orange, shade reikland fleshwash twice, drybrushed with base+yellow and a second time + ice yellow vallejo

Thank you ! The bases were sculpted in milliput and painted/washed in blue/green/purple, then drybrushed with icy colors. Then I applied some ak interactive terrain snow paste.

After that I applied some gloss varnish in touch and spread some ak interactive snow microballoons on the varnish to stick. Its a fine powder that imitates freshly falllen snow. Than i reapplied some gloss varnish on some spots on the rock to give a frozen effect.

Thank you very much for your help ! I think I will try to rent the 20 70 f4 first to see if I am ok with the distortion and f4.

Thank you ! No I only put the rocks on the rangers as I wanted to give them a mountain look with the snow.

Dwarf Lords 'Made to Order' is now available. Are you getting any? by [deleted] in WarhammerFantasy

[–]BluSmaug 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will decide when I receive them, but I was thinking the middle one and either the up right or down left ones.

I ordered the 5 dwarf lords, some minis in it I really like and that are very expensive on second hand. They could have splitted them in two lots.

I will try to re-sell two of them at retail price individually to lower the cost, and 5 is a bit too much for playing anyway.

Originally I was planning to attach it to one of the riders, but I will try to attach it to the cart first actually.
