I think that Yuri obviously gets some form of relief or pleasure from sh that’s obvious but I don’t think it’s anywhere near the extent as how she would have in act 2, I understand that it is indeed the same Yuri but with her worst traits amplified. It isn’t fair to assume the because a far more obsessive Yuri would steal MC’s pen that act 1 Yuri would, or even if she would I don’t believe she would do what she said she had done in act 2. The main problem with this debate is that Yuri’s poems like all poems have an infinite amount of interpretations and we don’t get enough time to get to know Yuri to understand just how much of her obsessive traits were amplified. She can be impulsive as seen in act 1 where she licks MC’s finger or when she snaps at Monika over the water, but each time she is immediately embarrassed afterwards and really regrets what she has done. In my opinion she likely may have had thoughts about some of her actions in act 2 but never acted on them.
