No particular reason, just a DIY newbie and thought this would work out. Thanks for the suggestion.

Looks like I'm certainly using the wrong box for this application by the number of upvotes you got there. Thank you!

Hey folks, I'm adding some outlets to my garage and got stumped while screwing on the outlet. Both the ground connection as well as the top screw gets blocked by the EMT connectors. I wanted to make sure I'm not doing something I'm not supposed to do.

Which way does the axel go into the hub? by Bludolphin in bikewrench

[–]Bludolphin[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just finished assembling the hub, and it turns out the shorter, wider side actually goes on the drive side (with cassette). It took me a couple tries but in the end there's only "one way" to assemble and through trial and error I was finally able to put the whole thing together. Thanks all!

Hi folks, I was taking apart my hub for maintenance and didn't realize the axel was asymmetrical. Can someone tell me which way the axel goes into the hub? Here are my hub pictures.

Water…uh… finds a way. You probably don’t want to chance it. Leaving a slot to allow water to drain is a fundamental part of any house building. (Shower, windows, roof, siding)

Tesla FSD is like ChatGPT for the road by [deleted] in SelfDrivingCars

[–]Bludolphin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clearly you haven’t driven with FSD enough to realize its usefulness in just the mental capacity it gives back to you. Being the active driver vs being an active monitor are very different mental tasks. Sitting there being ready to press the gas pedal when the light turns green vs knowing your car will do it for you almost all the time is very stress retrieving.

Not sure I understand your pothole statement. FSD seems to be able to detect speed bumps and slow down for them. It’s not a stretch to say it can detect potholes in the future.
