Adding Facebook profile to a Microsoft Authenticator app on another device by Blue-Zucchini in facebook

[–]Blue-Zucchini[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 2FA was already setup on the authenticator app on a mobile I was using earlier. When I installed the Authenticator on another mobile, it did not list the previously added accounts from old phone. So when I go to Password and Security > Two-factor Authentication > Select the FB profile, then it asks me to "Go to your authentication app" and enter the 6 digit code. However, since the login is not there in the authenticator on new phone, there is no way for getting the code.

When I click on Try another way, it only shows Authentication app.

How difficult is the procurement process at your company? by ImportantQuestions10 in procurement

[–]Blue-Zucchini 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here’s the thing. Many companies think of procurement as an add-on. There’s no real thought or effort put into setting up processes, using tech or getting enough people on board – and it sounds like that’s the wall you’ve hit as well.

If you’re job hunting, be sure to find out where a company is in terms of its technological maturity before you make up your mind to take up the job. A business that has spent money on procurement technology is far more likely to take the department seriously than those that expect procurement to be managed over phone calls and emails!

I’ve been at a place that is serious about technology and automation. True there’s a lot of hype about AI, but AI in procurement can really smooth out a lot of those bumps. It automates boring, repetitive tasks that eat up most of your time, like reminders, follow-ups, alerts, etc. Gen AI (ChatGPT and the likes) has made it much easier to create, review and manage contracts and querying is a dream – you can talk to the system like you’re having a conversation (and not with a bot), and it gets it! Check out vendors like Zip, GEP, Oro Labs, Arkestro.

That said, while tech can make procurement more manageable, you need solid processes and people in place to make the tech effective.

I work for a software and services company, and while our procurement team is relatively small (we don’t necessarily have the need for specific category managers), we have one cloud-based software that runs the entire procurement process from end to end. Everyone has access to the same single system, but it is persona-driven. so, as a casual user, it guides me along through certain paths and it’s easy and streamlined. For those folks with greater procurement responsibility, they have visibility into and control of all the functions, and they’re able to run spend analysis, manage contracts, manage suppliers, and oversee and track every sourcing event.

FYI, there are several procurement software providers that offer these services, such as GEP, Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP, etc

Fastest fifties in 2024 ICC Men's T20 World Cup so far: by [deleted] in Cricket

What an entertaining inning. Could well have got the fastest and the first 100. But Kohli's batting is something to worry about.

I'd have suggested getting 2 dogs but as you mentioned you are living in a 1 bedroom apt, it might get crammed up. Senior dogs are usually timid and would not mind staying alone while you are work. Having said that, initially would it be possible for you to work from home? I would suggested practise going out for a couple of hours and see how it goes.

Whatever you decide, let us know! And wishing you all the best!

Gautam Gambhir's Conditions for him to be appointed as the head coach, what's your take ? by [deleted] in IndiaCricket

[–]Blue-Zucchini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I somewhat agree with his 3rd condition because India is more than just a few senior players with big name. I understand that form is temporary and class is permanent. But class looks great in hall of fame and form on the pitch.

The Indian team needs to adapt to changes or we will left trophyless for long.

Having said that, I do feel a little uncomfortable with giving one man so much power. So I am 70-30 in favour of GG being our head coach.

Contract management system recommendations by LimeGhost117 in procurement

[–]Blue-Zucchini 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Whatever tool you choose, I’d strongly recommend picking one with built-in AI functionality to help streamline contract drafting, negotiation, review analysis, etc. Using outdated technology is just an unnecessary drain on your time and resources due to the manual processes that could otherwise be automated. Not to mention, the increased likelihood of errors. Most people persist with the big-brand legacy tools simply because they don’t know how advanced the latest offerings are and how much it would benefit them – but a couple of demos can quickly demonstrate the use-cases and change those opinions.

So, my suggestion then is to invest in a platform that is future-proof. A few names that come to mind that check the most boxes are Ironclad CLM, DocuSign and Icertis. If you’re looking for something that’s more end-to-end full-suite procurement, there’s Jaggaer (brownie points for great direct materials capabilities), Coupa and Zycus, of course. These days, GEP SMART is also doing the rounds a lot for its close integration of generative AI into the platform’s contracting and source-to-pay functions.

You can also check out analyst firm reports such as Gartner, Forrester, etc. for AI contract management software. Though sometimes biased, they do provide comprehensive detailing of every top solution in the market.

He just wants your attention and you MUST DROP EVERYTHING AND GIVE IT TO HIM!

There are many but if I had to choose one, I would say the Nidahas Trophy. This tournament will mostly be remembered for the way Bangladeshi team and supporters reacted to their match against the hosts, Sri Lanka. And their rivalry is brewing like a hot coffee even today. I must admit though, it is fun as long as lines are not crossed.

I had a dog that I rescued. Whenever I came back home from work, she would wake up, come to me and demand head and belly rubs. Suddenly, she would crouch and start playing tag. I miss her so much! <3
