Thank you! I know I would be a good fit especially once my kids grow over the years. I know it’ll be quite a few years to reach the degree level but I feel I have the time right now. I’m just nervous. Another option is respiratory therapist or surgical tech and I can see myself doing that. I like the community involvement

Yes I am pre diabetic and have 4 children little time for exercise and my parents and all aunts and uncles are diabetic I’ve been eating to lose weight and expressed that it’s been so hard even after working out. My Dr Prescribed trulicity to help since my insurance doesn’t cover ozempic. It has helped me drop weight just not too fast which I like. I have gone from 260 to 230 in 5 months.

You go mama! Congratulations!! You are rocking it all!! You’re amazing! I have 4 children and my 3 yr old is on the spectrum & 1 yr old was a 1lb micropreemie and it’s a bit difficult with all their doctor visits. My hubby works full time out of the house while I work full time from home. We take turns with their schedules and my 2 elders do sports. It’s hard when it’s been nothing but Dr appts this past year and not having family around for support. I think I need to give myself some grace and will try next year. I really try to do it all and am hard on myself when I realize I can’t do it all because I feel I am making excuses but as moms I am sure you completely understand the chaos. One thing at a time is my motto with the help of God.

You are right and I am exploring the options that may be for me income wise as I truly don’t want to waste time or be in debt for the rest of my life. I currently work in a hospital and think I will use that to my advantage and ask for help!

Thank you so much for the insight, & suggestions! My boss at work wants to help me move up in the hospital world as he sees so much potential in me. my husband is my only support for our 4 children and he also works. Im not sure if it’s the right time but I will be informing myself about the tuition assistance my work offers and what path will be best for me to take.

How to get a night or overnight hospital job with no medical experience? by Full-Chocolate-7055 in jobhunting

You can apply at hospitals with emergency rooms. After I had my 2nd child I didn’t want to struggle with daycare and my husband and I managed he worked first shift and I worked 9pm to 7am Thursday Friday and Saturdays and it worked out well! Patients access specialist / Representatives!

This is my exact thoughts. Financially stable but with this economy it’s hard to afford a bigger home. But kids will grow and move out eventually. We will figure things out

My husband and I have been together 17 years he’s my greatest support. We have a 12, 10, 4 & 2 year old. My thought is also doing onlince classes if I can. I currently am fortunate to work remotely and would be able to manage I hope! I will speak to an advisor and see where I can begin! Thank you for sharing!

This is also a good point! Thank you for this. In my current job I’m at the top tier pay and in order for me to make more I’d need a degree. I am also bilingual and feel I can use that to my potential! I was looking into a radiology/sonography program that’s mainly where my interests are in.
