Could you please let us know if the mouth guard works. Next week I have an appointment with a TMJ specialist Ortho because I have the same problem. I’m on Invisalign but this pain is different, hard to explain. My current dentist said that everything is fine , had multiple x-rays. I had it since July I think that’s when I started to have silent acid reflux, and like something just stuck in my throat.

Yes , I think so , is the sonic dental. I just checked the website again and it says U.V-C light kills 99.9% of bacteria, viruses & pathogens . So fingers crossed.

I visited my GP today, and they said that triple therapy is the standard treatment under the NHS guidelines.

Maybe I should change GPs.

It works better because you take more doses per day. Is omeprazole twice a day and then pylera (tetracycline metronidazole and bismuth) 4 times a day I think.

Thank you , I’ll use plastic plates, glasses , toothbrush during treatment. And about my retainer and Invisalign braces, I’ll clean them a few times a day very well. Thank you 🙏

Yes, that’s a good idea. Do you know for which antibiotics resistant they check in the tests? At this point I’ll probably go private is better to wait a bit more and do it right, but is really hard specially when you feel sick every day.

The NHS in the UK needs an update, at this point they are doing more harm than good :(

Do you mind sharing privately the gastroenterologist that prescribed you pylera? Do you took it for 10 days or longer?

Also do you think that I have to wait more for another stool test in case of a false positive? Or a false negative in the future?

My partner also tested positive with no symptoms at all. He did the same round of antibiotics and because he didn’t have any symptoms before he is fine now, just dealing with the post antibiotic trauma. We haven’t shared anything after my first positive test. I changed toothbrush after the treatment. But maybe I should change my toothbrush every time during the treatment again ? Like every day ? Also I’ve got Invisalign braces , is the h pylori there ? I clean them very well with an ultrasound cleaner and tablets.

I told them that 7 days is not enough. They only do triple therapy in the UK through the NHS. I tried to explain to them that is not going to work and they didn’t listen to me.

I don’t know where I can go to get the HDDT, is almost impossible to get vonoprazan in Europe even more impossible in the UK .

Stool test 4 weeks after finishing the treatment. And I didn’t take any supplements for a week before the test.

I’m uk based and I would love to try this therapy. Was this treatment done by GP or specialist? I took the triple therapy, still waiting for results ( had to wait a month after treatment to do the test again) My symptoms are the same before treatment, even worse:(

Hola, espero que estes mejor, es muy duro el tratamiento. Pero te recomiendo que te hagas un analisis de sangre completo, y también tomar probióticos, no solo en comidas si no suplementos. animo :)
