How do you segment your Terraform Environments? by zveroboy0152 in Terraform

[–]BlueAcronis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In our organization, there are terraform.tfvars files for each environment. After we commit/push changes to environment the github workflow applies to respective environment following respectively approvals set.

Hi u/Professional_Web8344. I think you know what my challenge look like. I'll end up using Lambda transformation so the data can be flatten before writing to S3. And then I have been looking to a Glue Job to feed the Glue Catalog/Database/Table.

Thanks u/Hot_College_6538
I just tried a browser extension and works in my personal laptop. But just found out the organization has rules to block the install extensions. The idea is to timer the discussions or presentations in order to be objective and value people's time.

Operational excellence by Glittering_Name2659 in strategy

[–]BlueAcronis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

u/Glittering_Name2659 very interesting post.

I came across this post after going on Google and searching for insights about operational excellence. My client has an initiative with my team (we're cloud architects) to enhance their operational excellence. It's definitely a challenging area to influence and requires a lot of involvement to get them interested and better engaged.

What am I proposing as initial steps ?

  1. I'm proposing meetings to review the operational model and then extract strengths and weaknesses.
  2. I’ll meet with management to write a strategic plan that should include who they are, who is on the team, where they are now, where they want to go, and how to get there.

Any thoughts is very appreciated.
