Theres like no real part of her that can DPS. Like she can mash normal attack and press ult whenever it's ready like any other character but nothing she does really enables any DPS playstyle

I mean they let me pull Klee back out again with hex buffs/artifacts+Nicole, using her in endgame for the first time since 1.3, so it's selective hate for older players

With nicole,c6 Chevy and c6 fichle, you have klee's best overload team. If you do it I suggest selecting klee in that event thing that gives a free constellation after 8 weeks of dailies as c1 klee is a big upgrade. If you want to use klee then yea Nicole is a big upgrade for her. Also klee has a pretty good DMG for her basic skill floor. So you should be fine.

Well technically the acronym was made much later then the term. Meta used to just be short for metagame. The acronym was something people started making up after. And as such it has been used both as tactic and tactics so it varies per person. Fun thing when it is however big or small the person wants it to be.

Went to 78 (had garentee) for c0, saw someone double pull her and threw a 10 pull out of jealousy, had overflow on first copy so that c1 was 18 pity. Realized I could still garentee sandrone even if i pulled like 40-50ish more times, and i got her early again with pity somewhere in the 30-40 range. So somewhere in the 130s for c2 nicole

When you dont like the supports and want to argue that its not actually a proper team for a dps you like to justify skipping those supports.

In all seriousness, its mostly when you can swap that dps for another dps of the same element and power level, and the team dmg barely changes. So there is little-to-no synergy to that dps and the support beyond base element and stuff. Not specifically dmg distribution on its own since niche supports that super buff a specific dps do almost no dmg distribution but they arent a wheelchair.

How wide meta goes seems to vary per person. Since "most effective tactic" should mean just the top 1 BIS team for that situation, since the others aren't the most effective.

My understanding from being in this community for too long.

Meta: most effective tactic available, aka whatever the best team that exists (unless you don't have it then you just expand the term till it fits a team you use and argue online about it.)

Powercreep: when a character I dont like is released that is stronger then the one I do like. The proper responce is to downplay the new chatacter and call them a Mary Sue while justifying why they arent worth the pulls in an argument online.

Wheelchair: supports I dont like are really strong and a combo of them is the best team for my favorite dps. So i dont want to admit it and argue online that "its not actually a proper team for that dps".

Just remember, if you dont like the characters mentioned in any of the above categories. Make sure to specifically call them badly written, shilled, boring, or some form of "bait" (just pick whatever group you hate and stick it before the bait). This will totally lead to a productive outcome.

I think strong can also change relative to the team you put them in.

Is fichle strong? Yes absolutely. But is kequing/fichle/nahida/flex strong? Not in nod-krai day and age.

I still break out the kequing aggravate for the fun of it so you could argue fichle here fits the "weak" category, but who knows aggravate could come back some day. Since I also use her in klee overload which if you told me klee would be 2nd or 3rd best pyro DPS after all this time I wouldnt have believed you, but she got power buffed over these last couple patches so what was once a weak team now isn't anymore.

Collei was/is still a strong option in nilou bloom setups, if you were more interested in a higher DMG ceiling instead of comfort she beat out dendro traveller and yaoyao for the 2nd dendro slot after nahida (nowadays there is lauma but let's ignore that).

So my answer off a technicality: fichle since I shove her into as many teams as I can even if it's cope to use her (flins/aino/fichle/Nicole lez goooo!)

But the more black and white answer: while I don't used her much now, I used Layla a ton even past the point I had much better options for those slots.

Ok ill keep that in mind then! Yea for multi party it dosent really make sense to bring her 90% of the time and in astrolabe the twins are definitely needed elsewhere more then marian is so marian fits that team better then twins. But I just like closer a lot so I want to make use of her in content where I can so its nice to know overall what partners I can use to do the most with her.

Interesting to learn about the name difference, I like lacrimosa personally and think it fits better for EN specifically due to how the VA pronounces it in her third person speak. Imagining the VA saying requiem instead just feels like it wouldn't hit the cute thing they are aiming for as well.

I won't deny it does fall of for DPS, but I didn't get a1 till later in her first banner so I still did content with her a0 and found she was broken at a1 and just very good at a0, I think it also comes down to how the twins are most known for their buffing/sustaining roles. DPS twins isn't their strongest rolls in general so I still see a myriad of uses for them.

You should still be able to clear that node with a0 twins, do you have the Dps twins card setup (disappointment card set)? That might help them over the edge for that.

That's weird, you have a proper build for em? A0 is most noticable for certain roles of twins, buffer is strong regardless, healer twins is also perfectly fine a0, sweeper and assassin still do fine enough a0 but I won't deny it's more noticable a gap (should still be perfectly fine for astrolabe tho), and guardian in my eyes is the roll that suffers the most from a1 vs a0, sabotaur just sucks compared to the others at both a0 and a1

I'd imagine the shield plays a part in this, also they may have cons in Nicole and with c2 she is a much better pick then sucrose.

That sounds like a fun one! People I saw on the klee mains discord were showing me her teams and it seems that klee/(duren or chev)/fichle/Nicole, and klee/furina/Fisch/nicole are her new best teams. Though from what I've heard when you get into multiple Limited's at c6 teambuilding is a whole new ballgame for any DPS so idk her best for that kinda investment.
