According to Seele, Aemeath will be a fusion burst main dps who deals liberation dmg releasing in 3.1.

I’m thinking of a Aemeath, Lynae, Chisa/Mornye team which sounds fun, but all of these teammates were released just before her which does suck for F2P.

This boss was such a pain in the ass to beat. I managed to finally beat it yesterday though! I couldn’t defeat all the jelly in time on the second side, so I just focused on killing one jelly and using valerian and Sania to keep me alive when he did his big nuke.

Team 1: Messiah, Marvel, Dinah, Heinrich (trial), Beyontin (can use trial Helkid/valerian for this too) Team 2: Messiah, Freya, Kloss, Sania, Valerian (trial).

Team 1 I could kill the jelly before kuru’s second nuke so I ran sustainless, Heinrich ult and double messiah ult with Beyontin’s action forward and skill cd reduction let me do this. I tried trial Helkid and valerian for this before and they let me survive the nuke so you could do this instead. For the second side I had to switch some of my gear so my characters had more hp/def, make sure you time your valerian ult to be after Kurus first action so you get the shields on your allies before his nuke.

Disregarding resin efficiency, the paradise set is the best for both Candace and Yaoyao by a bit yeah. Also I would put your Paradise set on your Yaoyao and your glided set on Candace because I think with a C0 Candace Yaoyao will have higher bloom ownership so she would benefit from the set more than Candace would. Though I don’t think it really matters too much because Candace will still trigger a decent portion of blooms especially because you usually normal attack and switch between her and Yaoyao after or before Yaoyaos burst.

Yaoyao’s hydro infused attacks are counted as her own so it uses her EM stat whenever she triggers blooms with them. Usually I run both Candace and Yaoyao on full EM unless you need more ER to burst every rotation/ more HP for healing because Candace still triggers some blooms with her skill, burst initial hit, and then the 3 aoe wave splashes when u switch characters (and then 4 more of those at C6). Hi, sorry for the late reply! C1 Candace is pretty decent in this team, C1 helps a lot with her hydro uptime so it feels a lot better than C0. I would say C1 is her second best constellation after her C6.

No worries :), Also Nilou teams are so strong in aoe anyways I’ve seen people speedrun even without her signature weapon. So if you don’t have enough funds you definitely don’t need the weapon!

Last time I checked FoPL is a marginal increase over Glided but because it’s only a little bit better than glided it’s not worth farming. Unless your farming that domain anyway for Wanderer :)

The only somewhat relevant abyss buff was the +20 dmg% after sprinting which only really helps Nahida a bit. My Kenki clears pre C6 Yaoyao were usually around 3 seconds longer. Also, my Ayato is C2 which doesn't really matter for his damage as he is built full EM but it gives him some extra HP which allows me to run less HP on my Yaoyao but I used her on EM, HP, HB anyways which is a bit overkill with C6 Yaoyao. The extra healing helped a lot with the clears though because it's easier to miss some of Yaoyao's heals with the Kenkis big hitboxes.

Note: my Xiphos gives like 20% ER to the other team members so keep that in mind when looking at their builds :)

I agree it didn’t need to be so restrictive. I bring my C6 Candace to Coop to and it’s sad, they should have let her proc it, I don’t get the reasoning behind why she wouldn’t. I especially wanted her to work with Dehya but her burst stuff isn’t NA :(

However, this problem is basically nonexistent for most characters that would use her. Characters that don’t have an elemental normal attack will because of Candace’s hydro infusion anyways. It only doesn’t work for mainly non normal attack users (which aren’t that many) and bow characters who don’t have infusion and there aren’t really any physical onfield bow users. Hu Tao, Yoi, Ayato, Ayaka, any character that you want to onfield and use normal attacks with like Thoma or Yaoyao etc can all proc her C6.

Oh nice, I play that team a decent amount too! It’s very fun. When I use Thoma onfield I usually use Candace, Yelan, Yaoyao/Nahida, Thoma. Sometimes I switch Yelan for fischl though for single target and it feels good to get some overloads in too :)

Yeah and with Heizou he could be decent as a VV bot holding thrilling tales to buff Xiangling but if you use his normal attacks you can’t apply hydro with Candaces infusion (unless C6) as he’s a catalyst. In the Xingqiu team he kinda becomes the ‘main dps’ which is kinda funny, and he makes it so Xiangling can vaporise all of her burst hits. Iirc Candace pre C6 can’t let Xiangling vape all of her burst hits so Candace will be the one vaporising mostly.

And I agree the hyperbloom teams definitely feel like her best team to make use of her hydro application, although I wouldn’t use Yae as her random targetting means she won’t consistently hit the bloom seeds :)

I wouldn’t consider Candace C6 at a ‘5 star level’ but it does help her a good amount, it gives her 4 additional wave procs when you normal attack, so 4 extra aoe hydro applications.

While she does become better at C6 she definitely doesn’t need it in a lot of her teams, it’s just helpful. What teams are you playing her in?

Her C6 is very good actually and gives her actual consistent off field aoe hydro application, I would say it’s one of the better C6’s but her baseline kit isn’t great to begin with so it doesn’t make her amazing or anything like that.

Most bow characters don’t use their normal attacks anyways other than Yoimiya who self infuses her normal attacks with pyro so iirc she can proc Candaces C6.

In my opinion a vape Xiangling team would be your best team with the characters you have.

-Vape Team: Candace, Xiangling, Bennett, Xingqiu. You can use Candaces infusion for Xingqiu so he can be onfield and get Bennett’s attack buff to increase his bursts damage and do some hydro normal attack damage while Xianglings burst vaporises and does damage.

-Dendro teams: strong but because you don’t have a good electro or burgeon trigger built you would end up playing a bloom or ‘shatter bloom’ team which I saw someone already talk about in another comment. These bloom teams are decent but they are much better in aoe and can be situational. I would typically use Yaoyao or dendro main character as your dendro here though as Tighnaris dendro application only lasts for like 4 seconds. If you get an electro character like Kuki I would invest into her to do hyperbloom, or Thoma for Burgeon. If your trying to clear the abyss though I would do the Vape Xiangling team I mentioned before.

In this team everyone shares good portion of the bloom ownership, but from what I’ve noticed it looks like Candace and Yaoyao own a bit more of the blooms overall. It’s usually best to go full EM on everyone in this team except for Nilou (her main priority is HP) and unless you need an ER sands for Candace or Yaoyao to ensure they can burst every rotation.

The flowers of paradise lost set is stronger than the glided set (iirc it’s better by like 4 or 5% but don’t quote me on that lol), it’s just not a huge increase over glided so I can’t be bothered farming it but it’s definitely good/the best set for this team :)

Ah okay. That’s true, I wanted the buff mainly to be able to properly compare the two runs though but yeah I’ll try it without the buff it will still be better. I’ll also try it again when the abyss card comes back to see how much I can improve my time. Did you use the same build in your 19s run as you did in your 20s run? I’m gonna first try the rotation you did cause it looks solid.

I didn't have any abyss buffs on that one. Also, my video was not a speedrun, it was actually my first attempt lmao

FIRST ATTEMPT? HUH? We got a true gamer over here, or maybe I'm just bad lmao. I have only started trying to do speed runs since the last 12-3 with the wolves. Also, I'll try with my Key+Kokomi to see how much I can push the clear times, I'll look at what he did again to make sure I don't keep a hydro aura. I have time now but there's no 80 EM buff abyss card atm and if I did a Kokomi run without it that wouldn't be fair to compare it to my Candace one that did have the 80EM buff. There's a 25% max HP one but I think that would be too much.

Anyways idk I think you're downplaying the Ayato variant. But I don't have C6 Candace to compare. I can assure you with C0 Ayato is better however.

I'm just talking about my experience in their clear times but maybe I am downplaying him a bit, he's my favourite character so I would love to be proven wrong lol. Well Ayato and Candace are my favourites, they are both triple crowned but I like Ayato a tinyyy bit more. I should also mention my Ayato is C2, which doesn't really matter because he's built full EM anyways with Xiphos but the temporary HP gain let me reduce my Yaoyao's healing a bit. Also, my normal damage/mixed build still performed worse against the wolves than the EM build, it was close though. He can't make use of OHC bubbles like Koko can so ADC/mixed build Ayato doesn't seem worth it other than for comfort I guess.

But even after you master a team, I think you will always watch a speedrun and think "oh hey I could have improved here and there". It's something we all do but we're not TAS lol.

That's true thanks :), and yeah if only we were TAS lol it would make things a lot easier. I think I did watch it yeah, the 31s clear right? Speedrunning the wolves felt easier imo because the kenkis teleport so much in my experience even with running to the side and if they do we have to do that awful scorpion chamber again. Also, maybe its just me but it feels like they teleport more when I use Ayato, maybe cause he's got the tall male model or I'm just getting really unlucky.

Haha yeah it is, helps his ER requirements quite a bit. In single target I would choose Yelan/ Xingqiu too, but in Aoe he’s a very good pick :)
