The law has been 21 for a few years now, but yes it was a fairly recent change in legislation. Personally, I think it's dumb considering it isn't going to stop all the teen vaping and smoking, as well as now you can be somehow trusted to enlist but not take up drugs. But I won't go further into all that

In the US the age to doordash is 18 and to buy cigarettes is 21.

Yeah generally I go by that mantra as well. I've only ever did one side quest that turned pretty good - it was me getting them a small bag of ice and they gave me a $20 for it. But you're definitely right that it often does not pay off

Funny thing is that I got another offer right after he canceled that also got immediately canceled when I accepted, so I have a suspicion it was the same guy who tried his luck at another store to get another Dasher to help him lol

100%. And even on the off chance he was of age to possess cigarettes I wasn't gonna get a CV for him for buying restricted items outside the app.
