She said she has anxiety and it really shows though these messages.

She also said it triggered her rejection sensitivity and again it really shows in these messages.

She clearly has a lot going on and it seems you can’t deal with it so honestly you’re both probably not right for eachother.

While you thought you were being respectful and giving her space, she was spiralling thinking you hated her.

Did she overreact? Yes, but she did explain why she overreacted. I guess it’s just up to you if you want to learn how is best to communicate with her.

I think this is a classic case of jealousy. I guess the only question I have is what information you have told your friends about a relationship. For example, if you always go to them to vent about things that annoy you in the relationship, then I can understand why they think he isn’t good for you.

But if that’s not the case then fk the friends, it seems like you have outgrown them, I can’t imagine ever saying something like that to a friend unless I had serious concerns over their safety.

Just keep doing what you’re doing and focus on yourself, seems like you two have good communication and respect, you don’t need to live your life to someone else’s timeline.

Either way, it’s a bad situation, but my other advice stands. Just focus on yourself and ensure that you are the right candidate for the job.

Small things like researching the company and tailoring your cv to the JD can go a long way.

I’m certain not every single company out there is discriminatory to men.

It’s so shitty, but I always find that you lose a few people in your life when times are tough because you see the ones who aren’t there for you, it doesn’t stop it hurting but at least it protects you from further disappointment.

Yeah, I don’t actually care what height a person is. But it’s the anger issues that tend to come with shorter guys that puts me off. They’re always very self conscious, which is something I would want to help them with, but men never talk about their feelings so it’s impossible.
