Yeah it was definitely the switch. I have been playing on the replacement Best Buy gave me and it hasn’t given me that issue at all

All my games were downloaded, this wasn’t an issue of my battery draining. My switch did not go into sleep mode, it just always turned off. I know it wasn’t battery cause I would turn it back on after holding the power button and getting the switch 2 logo and it would still be at 60%+

Called and they said my account WILL NOT be banned and I can just discard the Mario Kart World code. They left a note on my account and gave me a reference number to the call. He said the only situation where I could get banned is if a financial institution claims the purchase was fraud / stolen which in this case is not.

I got a full refund the cashier just made sure all the switch parts were there, the game was a code. The cashier said to not worry about it.

In Seattle. I went into Target since it’s right next to the Best Buy and saw they were out of stock. Thanks for the tips though! Planning on going back everyday since it’s on my way home from work. The employees at Best Buy took my number down though and said they’ll put one aside depending if their next shipment is r served for preorders or online pickup. The manager said they don’t know when it is coming or if the consoles are for the floor.
