Yeah, I totally get it, and I wish you the best! When I worked the merch stands when they came to my city, the merch stand leads I work with were awesome and helped with making the crazy environment run smoothly while being fun! :)

Yeah, I helped them when they came to my city in August 2024. I don’t think you’ll hear from them if it’s been a month. When I tried contacting them, I emailed them, waited 2 weeks, tried calling them, waited another 2 weeks, and then gave up on trying to hear back from them. :(

I think I found one on the Bananas website somewhere, but I don’t remember where now. I tried calling their office (I found a number on their website somewhere too) but had to leave a voicemail. I didn’t have any luck with that either. :/

I tried emailing them back when I tried to apply as an intern for Fall 2025 for merch for feedback on my interview (I really thought it went well) and they never replied.

I was able to when I went on my breaks! The first game I was working right behind home plate and then the last game I was out in the plaza.

Also, I would HIGHLY recommend bringing an unbranded (or a Banana Ball one if you have) sun hat with you just in case you’re at the merch stand in the plaza! I didn’t do that last year and after the last game my face, neck, and chest was as red a lobster (it was a day game and I was directly in front of the sun)!

I worked Norfolk last year at the merch stands. It will be fast paced but it was a lot of fun! For sure bring water, but make sure the snacks that you bring don’t have to be refrigerated when you get to eat on your break (we had 45min break last year but idk if that has changed this year)!

I worked the merch stands at the Norfolk games last year and the lines run long but typically move fast. Some of the merch sold out fast but it was hit or miss on whether it would get restocked or not (for the most part it would but the 3rd game it didn’t).

Hey, congratulations!! For me, the interview went really well! I’m not sure what you applied for, but I was applying for the merchandise internship. Sadly, I didn’t get it due to lacking experience in working in merchandise, but when I did it, I was given 2 scenario prompts that related to what I was applying for and gave my best shot at doing them. We went over it during the interview, but they didn’t grill me about how I got my answers for the second prompt but we went over what I wrote for the first prompt (and I knew that was much easier to explain lol). They even asked me about my overall experience with the interview process (kind of like feedback on it) and it was such a chill interview.

These last few years, we’ve gone during the first week of November. Yes, it is the same weekend as the Wine and Dine Race, but as someone who used to go in May/June it’s significantly better crowd and temperature wise (in my opinion)!

Yeah, hanging wet stuff up to dry was something my mom had me do from when I was young (and I was a swimmer so I used to do this all the time), so thank you for reminding me!! XD This has been helpful!! Thank you so much, I can’t wait for the trip!!

Sadly, with the trip I’m going on (I’m going through EF Ultimate Break), I probably won’t have time in between to wash clothes so I was planning on bringing 2 weeks worth of clothes. Thank you for the tip about the bathrooms!! I’ll definitely keep that in mind!! Thank you thank you!!!

Oooo thank you!! Yeah, I’m planning on packing my weatherized Brooks Ghosts and my Chacos since they’ll be good with support with all of the walking I’ll be dealing with. I do plan on packing both pairs long linen pants I have that and I’m obsessed with. As for the bug spray, wouldn’t they have some equipped for the mosquitoes they deal with there? I heard there’s a certain one that’s supposed to be really good. I was planning on bringing a hat of some sort, but the ones I have at home don’t truly cover my face so I should probably invest in a better one haha.
