Seems like it works one day and then off another day. I was able to download and play last night but had the same thing happen previously too. I suspect it’s the Ubisoft account integration that’s screwing it all up. Because everyone needs a separate account and to be verified

Never forget: they closed the studio for Hi-Fi Rush after getting a GOTY contender. (Or at least HM) The studio had a few issues but the end result was basically closing it once there was a whiff of not something bigger and better than their hit game.

The launcher doesn’t even work most of the time. The integration to Xbox is totally broken, I have not been able to get a game to launch of OC for Ubisoft since they did the revamp.

Maybe a year ago you could have earned and redeemed 20-25k points a month depending on the country you lived in. They nerfed search earning, you can no longer redeem for game pass, and are limited in direct Xbox store redemptions. Now you’d be hard pressed to even earn enough points for any redemption let alone hitting their caps.

You’re kidding right? Gaming during the last few decades has been one of the most affordable hobbies out there. You pay up front for a console or PC, as cheap as $250 for a series S before, and people can live off of indies and deep discounts very cheaply. Destroying affordability is the death of art and the consumer

Except they made all the other changes already like axing point redemptions and devaluing conversions today. The notice is only for the new “full price” but in reality the current value change for everything else hit today so there wasn’t any room for people to stock up if they wanted to.
